Thank you for taking time to contact Rancho Physical Therapy to explain the issues that have occurred recentlyWe regret any inconvenience that this may have caused the patient or your organizationRancho Physical Therapy had originally sent
the patient statements based on how the TPA processed the claims, per our contract with this payerDue to the patient ,not contacting us in a timely manner, he was sent to collectionsWhen Rancho Physical Therapy was notified that the patients insurance had changed and therefore his co-pay amount had been lowered, we immediately made the necessary corrections and contacted our collections company, requesting that this patient be taken out of collections and his balance be brought to a zero

The statement regarding me contacting them in a timely manner is not accurateI followed up on this request for additional payment from the very first notice over a year agoI shared my information and position on it at the time as I have now done again at later dateMy dispute, stance and responsibility never changed due to my assessment being accurateThe end result being in my favor should justify my request to satisfy my needs considering the monetary damages that have ensuedAt this time my letter from both the collection agency and RPT are still requestedAlthough the collection agency had left me a voice mail indicating that "my" insurance had billed it wrong and I was no longer responsible for the collection, a letter arrived dated that same day indicating otherwiseThis may have been an automated response to the earlier position taken by them on the am side of that dayThis however is the last notification I received, and I deserve to have in writing from this company the facts indicating that I have been relieved and the collection cancelled, so I have future recourse to address the issue if it affects my credit againThe final bill from RPT shown with a zero dollar amount was not what was requested, but may suffice moving forward on your side, if a final letter and communication from American Capital is providedMy complaint with the attorney general will cease when the proper letters and shift of responsibility have been provided

The collection agency did provide me with a satisfactory letter of circumstances that provided me with enough of a platform to defend future effects from the situation
