Review: I requested $100 in bison steaks weighing approx. six pounds which I intended as a Christmas gift. I was told to expect shipping costs of about $50. The delivery of the steaks to me was one week late and arrived the afternoon of the last shipping date possible before Christmas 12/23. The steaks for which I was charged $150 (I accepted the excess weight without issue) were delivered in a styrofoam shipping container that was less than half full. I was left with no time to repackage the steaks and have them arrive on time. The shipping by UPS overnight was $180 based mostly on the dimensions of the shipping container. I complained to the owner, J.B. Gans, and was told he felt no responsibility; the problem was mine. I feel that he was intentionally deceptive in addition to being unacceptably late in delivery. This is a business and businessman to be assiduously avoided.Desired Settlement: I should be reimbursed my exorbitant shipping costs.
