Good Morning, My name is [redacted] and I am the Community Manager for Rancho Vizcaya Apartments in Santa Fe, NM.  I am completing my response for Complaint ID # [redacted]. [redacted] moved out of his apartment on 3/4/15.  His refund of $1,030 was processed by our...

community and sent to our Accounting Department on 3/5/15 in order for his refund check to be issued and mailed to him. We received a call from Mr. [redacted] on approx. 4/7/15 inquiring as to the status of his deposit refund.  After speaking with our Accounting Department, we confirmed for Mr. [redacted] that his check had been mailed as well as having confirmed his mailing address.  We spoke with Mr. [redacted] again during the week of 4/13/15 and 4/17/15  regarding his deposit refund.  We consulted with our Accounting Dept. once again and found that the check had not been cashed yet. To resolve this matter with Mr. [redacted], we cancelled the original check and re-issued a new check.  In addition we had the check overnighted to Mr. [redacted].  We called to confirm with Mr. [redacted] that he had received the re-issued overnighted check.  He confirmed that he received our overnighted check as well as the original check we mailed.  He confirmed the first check mailed showed a post mark date of approximately two weeks prior to the date he received it.  This post mark date was well within the 30-day period we are required to deliver refund checks to our previous residents. As this matter stands, we believe this closes out this complaint as having been fully satisfied.  [redacted] | Community ManagerRancho Vizcaya Apartments | 2500 Sawmill Road | Santa Fe, NM 87505o 505.982.1300 | f 505.989.8233 | [redacted]
