Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The owner is not truthful in her response. She is also not taking ownership of her actions but instead making it seem that I have some type of mental health issues. The statements of the police officers are irrelevant to her abilities to provide customer service. I would not have drove 30 minutes back to the restaurant to get a refund had my chicken been cooked correctly.  Also when I asked the officer to look at the chicken he told me he was not a "chicken guy." Which is just his sarcastic way of saying he wont look at the sandwich.  I would like her to take responsibility for how she handled the situation, and apologize for her actions and for calling the police because not only was it dramatic, it was unnecessary.  [redacted]

I have read over the customers complaint and have the follow to add to the report.  The customer came into my restaurant and asked if I remembered him from a prior problem he had with my staff earlier in the year when he told me that my employee who waited on him was rude and smelled like...

marijuana.  I do not condone drug use and would not allow any employee to continue to work if I thought they were under the influence of drugs or alcohol.   So this was the beginning of our conversation.  The customer brought a bag in to me and explained that his chicken sandwich was raw.  I took the bag from him and proceeded to start issuing him a refund as he had come in at the middle of dinner and I was not going to inspect the chicken in front of a whole lobby of people waiting in the line.  As I started to issue him his money back, he called me a fn bh.  I then proceeded to return his bag back to him and asked to him to leave.  I run a Christian based restaurant with over 25 underage children working for me and I was not going to wait on him as he made a scene.  I told him to leave and he would not so I called the Sherriff's department to report the incident.  After the Sheriff arrived he explained that he had looked at the chicken and it seemed fine.  Would I be willing to just give the customer his money back which I did. The Sherriff also said he thought there was some mental health issues with the customer.  The customer was given a warning not to return to my restaurant again otherwise he would be sited for trespassing.  I do not have the officers name but the incident is on file with the Sheboygan County Sherriff's department. Please feel free to contact me if there are any additional questions or concerns.  Thank you for your time and consideration. [redacted]

Review: I purchased a chicken sandwich from this restaurant on April 2015. The chicken was not cooked all the way. It was pink and rubbery. When I went in to get a refund/replacement, the owner of the establishment was very rude and irrate. After I had gotten done explaining the situation and making her aware that this is the second time I had received poor service from her busines, she grabbed the bag (without looking at the sandwich) and told me that I should not come back because "obviously (they) do not know how to serve me." I asked her if she was going to look at the sandwich and she said no. I told her that she should see what she was trying to serve me. She then took the bag and threw it on the floor. I muttered under my breath that she does not give a s[redacted]." She told me not to speak to her that way and pointed her finger in my face and told me to "get out." I told her I wasn't talking to her and that all I wanted was to get my money back. She continued to point her finger in my face. After a moment she told me to wait in the store because she was calling the cops. I decided to stay and wait for them because I still had not received my money back. When the police arrived they told me that I was making a scene and that I was irrate and that is why they were called. Which indicated to me that she was not being truthful of the situation when she placed the call to the police. While I was talking to her I did not raise my voice. When I swore the one time, I said it so quietly, I was surprised she even heard me. One of the officers went in and got my refund, he also notified me that I am no longer allowed in the restaurant.

The reason why I am filing a complaint is that the owner has no regard for her customers wellbeing. The fact that she became mad at me because she served me undercooked chicken just shows the disregard she has for the quality of food she serves. What if I would have become ill, or worse, what if my children became ill from it? Also, she needs to be held accountable for the horrible service she provided me. This entire ideal took almost 30 minutes. The entire time my wife and two children were waiting in the car wondering why I was talking to the police. The owner needs to be held accountable for the horrible service she provided me. Because of her behavior and lack of compassion, she took time out of my day, my family's day and the officer's day all because she didn't know how to handle a situation professionally.Desired Settlement: All I want from this establishment is for them to acknowledge the poor service they provided me and to formally apologize for the incident that took place on 4/3/15. I do not want anything for free from them. Even if she would have handled the situation correctly, I would not patronize them again because of the fact I just can't seem to get good service from them.

Response:

I have read over the customers complaint and have the follow to add to the report. The customer came into my restaurant and asked if I remembered him from a prior problem he had with my staff earlier in the year when he told me that my employee who waited on him was rude and smelled like marijuana.
