I entered into a contract with the complainants when he called and said he had all the decking removed for me to install the new deckThe contract said " we will replace decking and reattach handrail on new rim boards"When we removed the rim boards against the girders I told him the girders were rottenHe agreed they needed to be replacedI knew he didn't have much money so I replaced them for free ( linft)$ 1,value I also replaced at least ftof joist and removed a hot tub for freeThe last day we finished we agreed they owed me $ I said if there is nothing else I'm leaving and to give the check to my guy when he's done screwing down the last boards on the steps we rebuilt for free because they were rottenHe said thanks it all looks greatNothing was said about me hauling their old decking and that he could take back the $ of decking back since he paid for itMy guy brings me $ instead of $A week later the ck is returnedI call them to see what the problem is ,she said there were some screws missing, a piece of cap needed sanding and the screws they took of the old deck were on the groundI said well I would come take care of that right away" She said no I'm not letting you on my propertyBecause then I would have to pay you, and I lost $ 10,at the casino the night before you guys finished the deck, and I'm broke"I said I'll see you in court

He said thanks it all looks great. Nothing was said about me hauling their old decking and that he could take back the $ 80 of decking back since he paid for it. My guy brings me $ 2000 instead of $2200. A week later the ck is returned. Review: hE WAS REPLACING OUR DECK AND WE HAD A CONTRACT. HE KEPT ASKING FOR MORE MONEY, DIDN'T DO A GOOD JOB AND WALKED OFF THE JOB WITHOUT FINISHING. hE DIDN'T FINISH THE DECK AND LEFT A HUGE PILE OF OLD DECKING WHICH HE WAS SUPPOSED TO DISPOSE OF. hE LEFT ONE WORKER AND HE LEFT SAYING HE'D BE BACK TOMORROW WHICH HE DID NOT hE CALLED A WEEK LATER AND SAID HE WAS COMING THE NEXT DAY . hE DID NOT SHOW UP AND WE HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HIM SINCE. HE ALSO HAD LEFT OVER WOOD THAT HE IS SUPPOSED TO RETURN BUT HE JUST LEFT IT HERE AND WE CAN'T RETURN IT BECAUSE IT'S ON HIS ACCOUNT.Desired Settlement: I STOPPED PAYMENT ON HIS LAST CHECK FOR 1,000.00, BUT I HAD GIVEN HIM 300.00 EXTRA. I WANT TO GET MY 300.00 BACK AND USE THE 1,000.00 TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE FINISH THE JOB AND GET SOMEONE TO HAUL AWAY ALL THE GARBAGE WOOD. aLSO THERE ARE NAILS EVERYWHERE LOOSE ON THE GROUND AND I HAVE DOGS AND I DON'T WANT US OR THEM STEPPING ON THEM
