.Never work with Randy jones he did the head liner in our jeep and he cut wires that made us have to go to a auto repair and another apolstery guy to get a head liner out back in he agreed on a refund and it was a check we have went to the bank 5 times each time they say he doesnt have the funds we try calling him and he won't answer and when he was doing the head liner he would never remember a conversation we had 5 minutes before we arrived we do not like to give bad reviews we like to use local services but we will be taking him to court to get our refund.!

I will mail you a check for $300 by March 4.

As of March 8, 2016, I have not received any additional funds from Mr. Jones. This is a similar promise made in February. He has left messages on my phone that he does not have my address but showed up at my house...

and left his partial payment in the mailbox. I have tried to contact Mr. Jones but it appears my phone number has been blocked.  I will be happy to accept the remaining $300 payment and be done with this but it does not look like that is going to happen without further measures.

Review: After six weeks and missing multiple deadlines, my husband and I visited the place of business to view the progress of our wing back chair and camel back couch. The chair was found partially reupholstered in the wrong fabric. The chair had been overstuffed to the point of altering the appearance of the chair. The chair had been a top of the line chair and a plastic bottom had been put in the base. The only sign of work done to the couch was the slashing of the outer fabric. Mr. Jones insisted that the fabric was correct but could not provide documentation to back up his claim. I had given him a detailed list of instructions including the color and pattern number of the fabric and paid a $700 deposit by personal check. The check was cased on November 24, 2015. Our visit to the shop was on January 5th at approximately 5:45 pm. I informed Mr. Jones before leaving on that I would pick up the couch and chair the next morning and expected a full refund. He called at 7:45 am on Wednesday, Jan. 6 to say he would not refund the money and again could not provide any documentation that the fabric which had been used on the chair was the correct fabric. He called a second time at approximately 9 am and tried to indicate that he had had work done to the cushions. I explained I was on my way to pick up the couch and chair and strongly advised him not to make any further changes to the furniture.

I arrived about 10 am due to a delay as a result of the earlier phone calls and find Mr. Jones absent from the business and a new pad lock on the business. I called Mr. Jones and he did come meet us. I retrieved my couch and had Mr. Jones sign a document acknowledging that the furniture was being taken before it had been completed.

With two witnesses at the time, Mr. Jones did not argue further and sign the document stating that I was taking the furniture and that he had not refunded my deposit. Again he had no documentation about our agreement or the fabric which was originally ordered.

I am trying to avoid court proceedings. Any help in this matter would be appreciated.Desired Settlement: Total refund of $700 by February 1, 2016.
