Rankin Construction

Hired *** Rankin of Rankin Construction, LLC to redo a master bathroom. Work performed was shoddy and subpar. Plumbing supplies used were unacceptable (galvanized steel) and caused issues to which I had to hire 2 other contractors to come in and repair. Floors and walls he installed were uneven and poor workmanship. Left gaps in the walls from drywall he took out and didn't put new walls in to match up. Plumbing was so far into the wall it was impossible to connect the showerhead, personal shower and controls for the shower without removing newly installed tile to re-do. The plumbing for a personal shower and to be moved or it would have hit the glass that was being installed. Walls had to be cut from the backside of the shower to go in and repair fittings. It was then discovered that the controls for the shower system weren't even secured to anything, kinked hoses and wrong fittings used for plumbing which would have rusted quickly and caused leaks in the walls. He left building materials for over a month, ruined driveway from mixing concrete and getting all over which he said he would power wash and never did, damaged newly installed vanity, damaged bathroom door, never put a tarp down over carpeting in bedroom, so I had to have it cleaned afterward. He agreed to refund monies paid to him and reimburse me for other costs of having to hire other people to repair his work, but he has not done so by the agreed-upon date of July 26th. Can't trust him as he has done nothing but lie. We are senior citizens and feel taken advantage of. I give him opportunities to fix but he never comes through. He tried to fix the shower floor, but it is still uneven. Had to hire a person to install tile, which I was going to do, but walls and floor were so bad I couldn't deal with it. All supplies used were sub-standard. Additionally, he claims another business as his own showroom (***), both verbally to me and on his Facebook page.
