I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  
I am not satisfied with the response from Nexcar. They provided 2 different explanations regarding why this vehicle was still in our names and only passed the responsibility on to the auction company and then on to us. They have refused to accept responsibility for their negligence. Through our own research, as instructed by the attorney, we contacted Austin and discovered that our names were still listed as the registered owners until late September. This is not acceptable business practices. We traded and signed over that vehicle to Nexcar in June. So for over 3 months, this vehicle was still registered to us. Had it not been sold, when would our names have been removed? Had this vehicle been used during a crime, it would have come back to us, just as it did with this accident. Having to take time out of our lives to deal with this is something that we should have never had to do. At this point, I want an official apology from Nexcar. Their response does not satisfy me and make me any less angered by this incident.

The paperwork has been submitted to cancel the extended service agreement. We are currently waiting on the extended service company to cancel the service agreement and provide the refund of the unused portion of the service agreement to Nexcar. Once that has been done a refund of the unused portion...

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]We did not sign any type of form stating that we were going to be charged for mileage on the car. Once the finance company told me that the loan would need to be restructured we returned the car. If I would have signed a form stating that I would be charged for a car that was not mine we would have never drove the car off the lot until we knew that it was ours. This company asked me to lie to the finance company and I can provide call logs and other communication proving this. I just want the money back that was mine.

The bank wanted to restructure the deal based on the information that the customer supplied them. The customer chose not to go with the restructure and return the vehicle. The customer did use the vehicle and was charged for the miles it was driven. The remainder of the down payment was refunded to...

I was able to get the extended service company to flat cancel this service agreement. Normally it has to be done with in 30 days of purchase. Their turn around time for processing cancellations is 2-3 weeks. Once the cancellation is completed a full refund will be issued to [redacted] to credit your account there.
