Review: I filed my taxes twice with this website. The first was for 2012 taxes and the second was 2013 taxes filed on January **, 2014. The site informs you that they will file your taxes, have chat available and assist with any issues within 24-48 hours. Firstly, I filed my taxes last year and because they didn't get back to me right away that a SIMPLE error caused my taxes not to be accepted by the IRS, my taxes were delayed and affected due to the government shutdown as a result and I had to mail them in, despite paying them. Even though this happened, like an it I filed again on the [redacted]and thought that I would be able to get service quickly since I turned in my taxes before the filing date. There was an error that was made and I left several messages throughout the week and called continuously with no return phone call or messages. I don't mind a delay, but this company has that chat is available for a set time during the day, but when that time comes they remove the chat capability from the website. I've paid my money to have my taxes filed and I had to go with someone else that had no problems sending me instant texts and emails of errors or acceptance from the IRS. I want my money back.Desired Settlement: I need a refund issued immediately.

This companies website is misleading. It does not state outright that tax payers cannot file past due tax returns ELECTRONICALLY. I just found this site and right before I decided to start an account with them and file my 2013 tax return, I followed my mind and researched Revdex.com, after which I felt confident that they were ligitimate, upstanding business. However, after reading the complaints on file, I decided to test how easily they could be contacted.

Their email require that you are already a registered user. Their chat service was unavailable. They have a phone number ###-###-#### and I called. I pressed "3" for GENERAL QUESTIONS but no live or automated voice answered. After a few seconds hold, an automated "goodbye" was heard and the call ended. I called back and pressed "2" and that is when I heard the recording that your prior year tax return must be downloaded, printed and signed by you, and you must MAIL IT INTO THE IRS.

I then found a link to the company's website under [redacted]) This question and answer page the question of Can I e-file my prior year taxes with Prior Tax? Their answer is "No."

IT SHOULD BE MADE VERY VERY CLEAR ON THEIR WEBSITE HOME PAGE THAT INDIVIDUAL TAX RETURNS THAT THEY ARE OFFERING TO FILE FOR A PRIOR (OVER DUE) TAX YEAR WILL NOT BE EFILED/Modernized e-File/Mef.

So, don't waste your money if you already know how to prepare your taxes yourself. They will just let you use their site to enter the data and print it out for a fee! The MeF system is only useful for current taxes example 4/**/14 up to the October 2015 deadline for late filers. All prior years must be mailed in to the IRS. Go to [redacted] or [redacted] and print out the tax forms for the prior year(s) you need and do it yourself.

Review: None delivery of services, debit card charge (confirmed with bank), no response to requests for action......Live chat unable to access account info ...asked to call back later.I never even received an order confirmation for a week yet.....(please note that this business seems to operate under two different names.Priortax.com and Rapid filing services LLC)Here is my latest communication to them: "I used your site for my 2012 return last week...... I have not recvd anything from you. I went to Live chat and they couldn't help me on Fri. They saw I had an account but couldn't get in. Said try later.I sent an email this morning, Tues at 7am PST I informed you that I had not recvd anything and my debit card was charged a week ago and I asked for immediate action. I received no response after the entire day. I an extremely displeased and have gone to your competitor. I want my money refunded immediately! Sincerely .....
