To whoever it may concern,
I'd like to provide some feedbacks on one of your registered agents, [redacted], who was the broker who filled our application for an apartment in [redacted] on 5/**.
Our experience with Rapid Reality for the past week has been a shame. Below is a detailed description of the situation:
As an introduction, I'd like to mention that our revenues exceed 65x the rent (way above the 40x [redacted] standards), and we provided on Day 1 all due proofs of employment and references.
- First of all, we had to deal simultaneously with two different agents ([redacted] and another Rapid Reality agent, [redacted]), both talking at the same time to the landlord, and giving both parties contradictory information, which resulted in a lot of frustration for the landlord - and us.
- On 5/**, I provided all paperworks plus a 1-month deposit, and we had a firm agreement on the terms. Then the situation in the next days quickly became uncontrollable, as the Rapid Reality agent [redacted] kept changing the terms of the deal: on 5/** he asked for an extra 1-month deposit (never mentioned before), on 5/** he asked for an extra $500 pet deposit (never mentioned before), on 5/** he asked for a copy of my 401K retirement plan!! (never mentioned before).
- On 5/**, we got confirmation (and congratulation) from Rapid Reality about our application being accepted. A meeting with the landlord was set-up to sign the lease. Then the Rapid Reality agent [redacted] simply stopped answering. We tried reaching out to the him multiple times that day, but he never returned any of our calls.
- On 5/**, we reached out to the landlord directly, who told us that the unit was rented (?!).

This has been an unfortunate situation..  We have satisfied this complaint and have signed proof of this attached above..

I would like this complaint removed from the Revdex.com as satisfied from the record of my name and RR Crown Heights...

LLC..

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is almost satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

The reason I state "almost" is because it took a month, to receive our refund, when the company site states "all refunds will be returned in 48hrs."

The dishonestly was abundant and the stress was exhausting.

I believe this complaint should remain on file, to warn other consumers, of possible deceit.

Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: My fiance, [redacted] and myself ([redacted]) hired [redacted], of Rapid Realty to act as our Broker. We were in contract to lease a n apartment at [redacted]. We left a $1,200 "good faith" deposit. That [redacted] WIlson was supposed to hold. The apartment fell through and we as well as [redacted], was unable to secure the apartment for us. Rapid Realty's contracts states that all "good faith" deposits will be refunded to the consumer, if and when an apartment falls through, within 48hrs. It's beeen 3 weeks, my fiance and I are YET to receive our deposit back. We've made call after call, after email to [redacted], [redacted] ([redacted]-the owners assistant) we've heard every exuse as to why we haven't received our deposit yet and specific dates as to when we will get our deposit back. NOTHING.Desired Settlement: I want my money back and I want Rapid Realty held responsible and [redacted]'s license taken away.
