I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me with the following comment I do not recommend this company at all They did not return calls and I believe if the Revdex.com had not been involved, I would have not received my deposit back Someone had to sign for the check and they knew that I lived in Alabama If it were not for my daughters room mate that moved to Brooklyn to live with family, there would have been no one to sign for the check I believe they had every intention of keeping the deposit

Review: [redacted] was assisting me in finding a apartment for my daughter and her roommate in Brooklyn, NY. We sent $600 by wire from our bank to Rapid Realty. $100 was for a credit check and the $500 was for a deposit on the apartment. [redacted] told me on the phone if it did not work out, our deposit of $500 minus the wire fee would be returned. It did not work out. We have not received our refund. The money was wired on May **, 2014. (We live in Mobile, AL, our daughters roommate is from Texas). [redacted] stated in an email that the money would be refunded but someone would have to sign for the checks. Kind of funny how that worked out because we do not live in New York. My daughters roommate was able to go to New York and stay with family until she finds a place. She has gone to the Rapid Realty 3 times to pick up her check and ours and they do not have it. I was told that a refund would be available May **. [redacted] is not returning any calls from me or my daughters roommates mother, [redacted]. I called yesterday, June [redacted] and spoke to [redacted]. She said that there was a problem with the refund because they did not have the correct amount for the refund. She said it would be ready that afternoon and that she would call me back. I never heard from her. [redacted] has called them several times as well.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund as soon as possible. Thank you.
