Review: about March *, 2013 [redacted] Franchise owner of "Rapid Realty showed me two three bedroom apartments inside of a two family home. He understood that I held a three bedroom section 8 vouchers in which expires on April **, 2013. [redacted] asked me "if I wanted to rent upstairs or downstairs." I indicated that I would prefer the downstairs apartment. He said, "will you be able to come to my office tomorrow with the deposit?' I said, "Sure." we then agreed that 10am that Sunday morning would be a good time. He said, "Don’t make me get out of my bed on a Sunday morning and you don't show up. we then laughed and I stated that I will be there. We met at his office on March **, at approximately 11am because he didn't remember the time we had scheduled I reckon. [redacted] asked me how soon I would like to move in. I stated a.s.a.p. I then gave him $1,500 cash money. Several times after we met he told me that I would meet with owner but it hasn't happened yet. it seems to me that he's avoiding me. I went to the property yesterday only to find out it has been sold and rented. Prior to that visit I did some online research and spoke to another agent that indicated the place wasn't for rent only for sale. [redacted] called me March *, 2013 at approximately 4:30 p.m. indicating that the landlord has been on vacation forever due to Passover. He also said that he ([redacted]) had been on "jury duty" that's the reason he hasn't been in contact with me. He also stated he was sorry and he will be setting up an interview that night with the owner and me for March*, 2013. I have not heard from him or the owner. An interview will be a waste of my time because I know someone resides in the resident that I put my deposit on. Now there's a chance my family and I will be left homeless because of [redacted]'s actions. As of May 2013 my family and I has been homeless.Desired Settlement: punished to the fullest extent of the law..return my money in cash plus enterest for my pain and suffering.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

After all of this time, they're now deciding to pay back my money. Im going to court. I've been suffering far to long to except what "Rapid Realty has to offer me know. My family and I are homeless because of his actions. I lost money that I really couldnt spare to have somewhere for my family to stay. Im currently in the shelter system worried that my voucher is going to expire because I havent found suitable housing.
