Rapid Recovery Service, Inc. Reviews (3)

The flooring issues were addressed on March 29, when we met with the floor installer and the homeowner at the home and he repaired all of the scratches that were pointed out by the homeownerThe next communication from the homeowner came on April 19, stating she had more issues, but
was not specific in her e-mailI asked her to make a list and send it to us and we would have someone come to the home to address all of the issues at once because access to the home was difficult because of the homeowners work hours. I requested her list a couple more times in April, but she stated that she was not done yet and would sent it when she wasNo communication in May from the homeowner at allOn June 9, we e-mailed the homeowner and inquired about he listShe finally sent it to us on June 10, 2013, three days before this negative review was filedOn June 10, I assured the homeowner that our project manager would be happy to come and address her issues and soon as she could be available. We were never given a chance after receiving her list to address any issuesIn answer to the issues listed here in this complaint, The gutter will be screwed back on you home and the landscape border will be moved back into place when we come to your home to address your other issuesWhen we take a customer's contents from their home, we take extensive photographs to ensure everything is placed back where it was pre-lossSo in the case of the bed and the picture, they were placed back where they were originally, as were the hooks in the wallHomeowner was not home during pack back, but if we had been made aware that they were not to be placed back, we would not have done soWe will be happy to rectify this as well as your other concerns as soon as you give us your availabilityAs for the plastic that we took from the windows and the French doors, it had to be removed so we could paint themSummer months were approaching so homeowner was given a credit of $credit for a ceiling fan that the insurance company paid us to purchase and install you the plastic could be replaced when the cold weather returned. We think that that credit was generous and should cover the cost to replace the plasticWhen the homeowner e-mailed us regarding the Xbox and Kinect that hadn't been found, she also indicated that she had not finished packing all of the boxes yetThose items were packed back into the basement in Box #Perhaps those boxes had not been unpacked yet. Our company is still owed a balance for work that we did complete on the roof that was over and above the insurance claim services that we performed. Our company would like the opportunity to address the homeowners concerns, collect the balance due and close this file

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11502389, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:

Hello [redacted], In my last response, I did indicate that we will be happy to address all of your concerns when you gave us a time to do so. As far as the money goes, there is a small balance left from the roof and a small balance left on the insurance portion. We did credit you the money that was paid for to you by the insurance company for the second ceiling fan that you purchased. We do understand that going through a loss like this is very difficult and we try to restore your home to it's pre-loss state, but there are always a few items that arise when the homeowner moves back in to their home that need to be addressed on a major loss such as yours, and we will be happy to meet with you when you are available to address these issues. Please call us and let us know when you are available.Thank you
