We became a little nervous when after hours, we noticed that our lawnmower deck was still laying in the same spot that it had been when we'd dropped it off for repairIt was never moved inside for service or secured(Should there be a robbery, their service order states that they would not be liable.) After retrieving it, and requesting a refund of our deposit, we explained that we found a shop with lower rates and better service Although we did get our deposit back, my husband was called an [redacted] and told to get the [redacted] out They should be ashamedThe loss of a deposit, which should have been $ but ended up being $because no one had change for a twenty, or a repair job, was no reason to be so unprofessional

Review: The below is a copy of certified letter & e mail I sent the to the business:

I am writing this letter regarding work that was recently performed on my [redacted]. I had dropped of the generator some months back to have it looked over tested and repaired as required. I had picked it up 05/26/2015 after receiving a call it was ready. The individual that checked me out told me I would have to return when I have it installed to make adjustments, in addition they did not know where the air filter was. I thought this request to be strange, Onan does not recommend adjusting. When I asked what they had been accomplished he said they had “clean the carburetor and tightened hardware”. After getting the generator home I had power wash the housing assembly to remove the grime and grease that has accumulated in the shop. At this point I had noticed the housing screw were not installed properly and had been striped. Prior to installing the generator last weekend I decided to I inspected the generator. Removing the generator cover the first thing that looked out of place was the automatic choke assembly coil housing. The cover was no longer attached to the housing and riding along the choke and the choke lever tension spring was out of place. It not likely the generator would run with these two discrepancies. I repaired the items by replacing the housing and spring. Upon examining the carburetor function the choke and throttle were both sticking. I removed the assembly and have provided the before and after photo when I cleaned the carburetor. It is evident that the carburetor was not cleaned. I further inspected the generator against the Onan service manual finding the following missing items; Control switch circuit breaker missing screw bonding washer and screw, Housing screw missing, Air filter and retaining nut missing. I am requesting a refund for the labor cost that I was charged and did not obviously revive the service. Dear Sir

I am writing this letter regarding work that was recently performed on my Onan 4kw GenSet.

I do not expect a full refund, a reasonable amount based on a level of effort to at least remove the housing.Desired Settlement: Refund in the full amount charged has they refused answer my e-mail letter and provided a negative and disrespectful response to me on the follow up phone call.

Review: I dropped off my lawn mower to Rapid Response on Monday April 1st 2013. The man that took my mower said that it would take 3 weeks to look at and fix my lawn mower. I called on April 19th and was told by someone that the person who was working on my lawnmower was "let go" and they weren't sure when it would be done. I called again on April 23 and someone told me that my lawnmower needed some parts and they would call me when it was finished. On April 30th I called and spoke with someone who said they couldn't find my lawnmower and that they would call me back the next day. No one called me. On May 2nd I called and I spoke with [redacted] who said if I needed a lawnmower I could borrow his until mine was done. I told [redacted] that I would probably need the mower by May 6th to mow the lawn and [redacted] told me to call back then to set up a pick up. I called back on May 6th and got no answer. I called May 8th and left a message on their answering machine. I called on May 10th and was told that they had to go look for my mower and they would call me back. I have not received a call back as of yet. I paid 30 dollar deposit and would like my $30 back and would prefer to be reimbursed for having to buy a new lawnmower so that I can stay within neighborhood code for lawn care because Rapid Response will not return my calls or follow through on any of their promises.Desired Settlement: I paid 30 dollar deposit and would like my $30 back and would prefer to be reimbursed for having to buy a new lawnmower so that I can stay within neighborhood code for lawn care because Rapid Response will not return my calls or follow through on any of their promises.

[redacted] stated the customer brought the motor in on April 2, 2013 and picked up motor on 5/11/13 with no complaints.

Review: I took my ridding mower to get fix to this place, they "say they fix it", they drop it in my house an as soonest I went to mow it quit working, they pick it up got it to their garage and "fix it again". I mow my back yard once and it quit working, they came and pick it up again and "fix it again" and once more time it quit working, I went and told them to pick it up and they came and just work on it in my back yard and say it was good, the last time it quit working I told them and they refused to come pick it up and fix it again, they say they are losing money by trying to fix my mower, I took the mower to another place [redacted] and they fix it right away with out any issues, my mower runs with no problem and still running, came to find out that Rapid response it was only by-passing the sensor in order to make it run, and they refuse to give me the money I pay to get it fix.Desired Settlement: I want rapid response to refund the money I paid since they didn't fix anything on my mower.
