Responding on complaint filed by *** *** to Rapido Jewelry RepairMy name is Alberto S*or owner of Rapido Repair. Mr*** had come into our store wanting to switch the battery out of his watch. We switched it out and later that week he came saying it was fogged inside and time was slow. We had explained to him that it was probably one of the gaskets that was badWhen we are asked to change a battery we only do what is askedChanging the gaskets or pressure testing the watch is only done if asked or suggested for further cost. To go deeper into this we had switched his battery for freeHe had purchased a warranty from the previous company, Fast Fix, that was here before we wereWe honor these warranties for own customer service. With old watches you have to get them cleaned, overhauled and pressure tested if you are going to use around the water. After he had called us again threatening myself and my business of closure of my storeWe had offered to fix his watch by replacing his movement and fixing the watch on our cost, meaning he will just have to pay my price not retailed costHe had refused and continue to act out with many comments and remarks about my business. Though it was not our fault that his watch parts were worn out and we had provided a service for free of charge, I will still allow Mr*** to come and get his watch fixed for our costThank You, Alberto S*** Rapido Jewelry Repair

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
 I told you my story about taking the seiko watch in for battery replacement as you can see from my complaint details ID # 10699175, First message from business the story changed , Rapido Jewely stated that I brought in two rings to be sized up and harassed his employees, screaming and yelling that we have stole gold from the rings. Also Rapido Jewely stated that I continued to call multiple times the same day as well as the following day and continued to harass them saying I was going to shut there business down. Second message from business ,states that I came back later that week  and continued with many comments and remarks about there business, whats up with this they don’t know or remember who I am and what I was doing there . If you are going to run a business and respond to a complaint the facts should be the same. As I stated before for a simple battery replacement its not my fault that the switch of the battery turned out to be a disaster. All I can say the facts from the first response shows you that Rapido jewelry doesn’t know about me and what went on for my Seiko battery replacement there. I’m checking  out  other places and prices to get my watch fixed.

Mr. [redacted] brought into the store two rings to be sized up. These rings he had brought in were used and worn. The job was finished and complete to the customers needs and he had left happy with the jobs done. Two hours later, Mr. [redacted] called and harassed my employees, screaming and yelling that...

we have stole gold from his rings by filing the prongs down on the diamonds that we did not touch during our process of sizing. The only thing we did was what he had asked for which was to size and polish the rings. He had continued to call multiple times the same day as well as the following day. I had talked to him on the phone and I had explained that we had done our job and did not do anything else besides it. He continued to harass me and my company saying he will shut my business down and pick-it outside my store to keep my customers away unless I refunded his money back. I have 45 years of experience in the bench jewelry field, I am a fair and honest business owner and worker. His rings had left the store with more gold than it did before because of the gold added to the sizing.Thank you,Alberto S[redacted]
