I am sorry that we could not come to an agreement in your quest for purchasing a vehicleAlthough rare, sometimes we have to use multiple sources to try to get an approval with an acceptable rate for the consumerUnfortunately, we are unable to remove inquiries made by individual financial
institutions when trying to secure financing on your behalf or the co-applicant party

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I was promised a full refund by *** *** or I would have come back and had them finish the job on August 11th.The only remedy at this point is that. I would not have donated the vehicle away had I known they would not honor that promise.Thank you,

Mr*** brought his year old , 145,mile GMC Yukon to our dealership while he was visiting Disneyland with his familyHe brought it to us because while traveling from his home in northern California (Santa Clara) he heard noises in the front end of the vehicle when he turned to the
leftSquealing/Clunking sound (see attached repair order). When the vehicle is turned to the left, there is added pressure placed on the right front hub bearing as the vehicle weight is transferred in that direction causing the noiseUpon inspection of the vehicle we noted several additional items that needed attention to address his concernsWe made the following recommendations; Prime item- The right front hub bearing was noisy and failing, being loose it caused noise while driving and was especially noisy when turned to the left The lower ball joints which get the most work in the front end as they are under constant load were worn and noisy; A front end wheel alignment that would be required after theses approved repairs, and an oil and filter change was added last minute. The customer elected to have only these two major items addressed at this time, he declined the additional recommendations listed belowAdditionally, the tie rod ends were loose and had some play, these would also cause a clunking sound when turning (slight noise)The front struts were leaking and had play in themUpon completion of the repairs the customer picked up his vehicle and began to return homeSome time during his drive (about miles from the dealership according to the customer) he noticed the lube reminder sticker had not been changed and the oil life reminder on the dash had not been resetThe customer called the dealership and spoke with *** Cary- the service advisor he had been working withAfter some back and forth it was discovered that our technician was not aware that the customer had requested and oil change and it was overlooked*** *** advised the customer of this and made an offer to have the customer stop along his way home and have the oil changed and we would provide a credit car over the phone to pay the bill or we would refund the customer the amount he was charged in errorThe customer agreedDuring this phone conversation the customer never claimed that the noise was not repairedHe never expressed concerns about vehicle safety and he continued his nearly mile trip homeHe never called the dealership again to voice concerns with workmanship.Several days later we wore notified by our bank that the customer stopped payment FOR ALL THE REPAIRS THAT were performedI appealed to the credit card company and his credit card company reversed the debit and provided payment for the repairs we performedMe*** called me and emailed meWe had and extensive conversation about his concerns via emailI again extend an offer to refund the customer his money for the oil change portion of the serviceHe contends in our communications and at various times that 1) we did none of the work, and he is entitled to a refund- I offered to have him take his vehicle to the GM dealership near his home and have it inspectthat we true I would make an adjustment, he refused to make the vehicle available for inspectionHe further contends 2) Mr*** stated that *** ***- Our service advisor, offered him a full refund- That is simply not true, no offer for a FULL refund was ever madeWe offered a partial refund for one small portion of the total repair s due to our over sightWe have sent him a check already for that amount. We do not owe him anything beyond the offer we have extended to him to have the vehicle inspected at the GM dealership near his homeThat offer remains open.

This is an uneceptable answerEspecially since we went to another dealership and was financed for a brand new car with a payment that was lower then the only offer this dealer could get on a used car after sending my information to different institutionsWhat this dealership did in regards to sending our info to different banks is criminal (especially since the other dealer only had to send it to banks)These inquiries never should have been on my credit historyNow they are stuck there dragging down my credit rating for years because of this dealerships unethical practices

It is unfortunate that the customer is dissatisfied as we feel the solution we? proposed is reasonable and justifiedThere was never an offer for a "full refund " as we performed substantial repairs to his vehicle that corrected the safety concern that he brought the vehicle to us to have corrected.? We have made a reasonable offer to have his concerns addressed at our expense by arraigning to have the GMC dealer near his home inspect the vehicle.? This? customer was/is? unwilling to make the vehicle available for a third party inspection of his baseless claimWe have a well established favorable reputation in Orange? County for over yearsWe review? concerns from our customers with the utmost seriousness and provided in this case an unbiased assessment of these allegationsWe have no reason to believe that what he claims is true as he has provided no evidence to support his claim.? ?
