Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: I spoke to Raritan Bay FCU in September I followed up in October for my auto tags an I contacted Raritan Bay FCU an spoke to SeanHe said he needed my insurance policyI think somone should have reached out to me for my insurance policyI switched to [redacted] in October for Pa an thats the information I sentThey didnt ask for the previous insurance from meI sent my insurance policy on monday october I received no response from tbe credit union at all an I called twice that week an could not reach ShawnThen my car get repossessed an the explanation they say is, I dont have proper insurance on my vehicleI am going to get my attorney involved because this place treats customers like crapThey dont send letters or call me for anythingI have to call them an my payments are caught upThen they take my vehicle away an blame it on insurance and bankruptcyThey will be summons to court Regards, [redacted]

In response to Ms***`s complaint, I will acknowledge that Ms*** in fact did reach out to Raritan Bay FCU regarding the title to the LexusOn October 17,2017, Raritan Bay FCU received a fax from *** *** *** *** County Auto Tags, requesting that Raritan Bay
FCU send the New Jersey title to them in order for Ms*** to register this vehicle in PennsylvaniaRaritan Bay FCU is the Lien holder on the above mentioned vehicle and title in questionRaritan Bay FCU, did not release the title due to not having proof of required insurance on said vehicleThe order to repossess the Lexus was issued on November 11, and as of November 18,Raritan Bay FCU is in possession of the vehicleI also spoke with Ms***`s insurance company on Saturday, November 18,2017, who confirmed that Ms*** did not have the proper insurance as required by Raritan Bay FCU

They didnt ask for the previous insurance from me. I sent my insurance policy on monday october 13 2017. I received no response from tbe credit union at all an I called twice that week an could not reach Shawn. Then my car get repossessed an the explanation they say is, I dont have proper insurance on my vehicle. I am going to get my attorney involved because this place treats customers like crap. They dont send letters or call me for anything. I have to call them an my payments are caught up. Then they take my vehicle away an blame it on insurance and bankruptcy. They will be summons to court.

On or about April 20, 2016, Ms. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] signed a Loan and Security agreement with Raritan Bay FCU along with other documents which included an Agreement to Prove Insurance. This document explained in detail all the requirements for the proper insurance as well as stating that the collateral pledged would have that insurance coverage for the term of the loan. As already stated in our previous response, Raritan Bay FCU confirmed on November 18, 2017,   that Ms. [redacted] did not have proper insurance coverage. In regards to Ms. [redacted] statement that “then they take my vehicle away an blame it on insurance and bankruptcy”. Raritan Bay FCU took possession of the collateral due to a default in the Loan and Security Agreement, which was not having proper insurance. On November 20, 2017, Ms. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] were sent a letter, both regular and certified mail, which explained their options.
