Review: I have weekly garbage pickup from this company. They have not picked up my garbage since 1/29/14, claiming that the alley where my trash is located is not accessible/safe to due snow/ice. However other garbage companies have continued to pick up garbage for my neighbors in the same alley. We had significant snow accumulations on 2/4/14, so they advised they would not be picking up on 2/5 but would pick up in 1-2 days. On 2/12 there was no pickup although the alley was plowed and fairly clear. On 2/13, we received another major snowstorm, but because I did not receive pickup on 2/12, I sent an email about the missed pickup. I was called back on 2/17 and advised I would receive my pickup on 2/19. I sent another email on 2/19, but did not hear back. So I called on 2/21/14 and spoke to a CSR who assured me I would get pickup that day and she would credit me $5. I told her that was not sufficient, and asked for a supervisor. She transferred me to a dispatcher who assured me the driver would be out, and she would follow up and let me know if the driver could get down the alley. I did not hear back and we again did not receive trash pickup, so I called again on 2/24/14. I again asked for a supervisor, and again none was available and spoke to the dispatcher again. She said she would do what she could to get me pickup today and would have a supervisor call back. A few hours later a called back and asked for a supervisor, and was transferred to VM. I left a message, and 2 hours later I called back and left another message, and have not heard back yet. I have been forced to haul some of my own trash away because there is no more room in my garbage cans.Desired Settlement: I need them to pick up the trash which has accumulated over the last month immediately, and I would like credit for the month of February since I have not received any service.

Our former customer, [redacted], is absolutely correct. With three major weather events, which caused us to suspend services for as many days, made trash collection very challenging. We took an "All Hands on Deck" approach to getting trash and recycling collected, including all Operations Supervisors/Managers out on the street, either driving trucks or slinging trash. Unfortunately, although we had all good intensions, there were some areas we simply could not get to. It was an almost insurmountable challenge to try to recover that many weather events with the road conditions as they were at that time (and some still are). The additional challenge for our supervisors was there were just not enough hours in the day to work on the road all day, and review/return voicemails. They were not able to return all the calls, and it appears that **. [redacted]s messages were not returned.

Per the desired outcome request: The trash has been collected, and a refund is being processed for the month of February. A refund in the amount of $45.35 for the Month of February has been processed and should be received within 2 weeks. We sincerely apologize for the service issues the [redacted] family experienced in the month of February, 2014
