Ratchet Infotech is a good company which is providing instant tech support services. Some time back, My Laptop was not working and hanging again and again. So I need help for the same. Ratchet Infotech is a good tech support company in the US. 2 years back My printer was not working good and I dialed the number of ratchet Infotech. You ask for some amount to resolve the problem. I had paid that amount and then they resolved my all printer problems. Still I am taking tech support services from that company and my experience is good with this company. Thanks Ratchet..... I suggest others also..

Review: I called Ratchet InfoTech Support ,stating that I have a problem with my PC and they assured me that they can be of help by telling me, " to sum up the conversation they basically told me, In order to help with the virus on your PC you will need to choose package A) for $ 49.99 one time support or package B.) for $150 .00 and we can install Rachet optimizer that will lasted for 10 years", before we can go further . What did I do? I chose package B.) for $ 150.00 for the optimizer for 10 years. And they got started with doing what they do on my PC .Which they gave me the impression that they solved the problem, when in reality they did not. However, Two weeks later ,I experienced another problem with my PC and called up Microsoft they did a diagnostic test on my PC and told me that the optimizer that is on my PC is primarily for Junk files and Register errors and that is not necessary for my PC. Therefore, I called the Rachet support team , and explained to their Tech Support, I will like to be refunded my money back they told me that is not going to happened. Lastly, I just recently visit you tube and read other complaints about this company.I hightly do not recommend anyone to use this company for their PC Tech Support. Complaint dated on this 9th day of June 2015.Desired Settlement: I will like for this company to refund me my money back.

Review: Contacted this company in response to computer pop-up advising system would soon crash. They worked on my computer for 4 hours and charged me $199.99, but next day I was unable to email. Called the same phone number and was told they had no record of my call the day before and that "someone" must have intercepted the call. They used severe scare tactics and then charged me another $150 to "repair" what they had done previously. I disconnected with them halfway through this new procedure and called Geek Sqaud, who informed me they (Ratchet) is a scam. They explained that Ratchet opens a "back door" on the computer and installs malware (they had told me in my 2nd call to them that I was infected with "Zeus Malware") unbeknownst to the user, who is then charged more money to address the malware issue, and that this goes on ad infinitum.Desired Settlement: I have disputed the charges with both my credit card carrier and my bank that I used to remit the two separate charges and hopefully will prevail. This company needs to be stopped! I found it very interesting that both of the representatives I spoke with used the same terminology (ie: "don't worry, go get a glass of water or cup of coffee, we'll take care of this for you") even though the second one said there was no record of the 4-hour telecon of the previous day and said that I had been scammed by them. I called the same phone number for both calls and have never heard of a phone number being intercepted by some other party, which they insisted is what had happened. That, and the exact same terminology that was used by the "second" party, was the red flag for me and I shut down my computer immediately. Geek Squad has now resolved the issue for me, but I fear that my personal information was compromised. Again, my desired outcome is that these people must be stopped!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: This company did not perform the services described and promised to me. On 12/14/2013 I called the HP telephone support number ( [redacted] ) for my HP printer. I spoke with a technician named [redacted]. Long story short. $200 later I was lied to and not provided with services and software as stated by said technician. [redacted] told me that all my devices ( 5 ) would have software down loaded and that I'd have LIFETIME protection. That was the reason why I agreed to the steep charge. That claim later proved to be a lie! Software was down loaded to only one laptop as I later found out. On a subsequent call back to question his actions, he was very rude to me! I was earlier told that if I was not satisfied, under the warranty, I could receive a refund. I requested such and he resisted. I was passed on to a supervisor named Monica. She said that They had a 24 hr. Cancelation policy as well. I requested such and she also strongly resisted. I spoke numerous times with supervisor [redacted] and others over several months. They many times agreed to refund me but it never happened. I filed a dispute with [redacted] Bank through whom I charged the service. They eventually credited me $100 dollars back and will pursue matters with Ratchet. Ratchet says that they record all phone transactions. I asked them to go back and listen to my conversation with [redacted]. They refused. I have paper from [redacted] Bank showing they lied and e-mails guarantying repayment that never took place. This company is very dishonest and needs to be exposed!!Desired Settlement: They did resolve a problem with my sons laptop but on all other matters they either failed, cheated and outright lied to me. So much deception took place over several months. I have names and dates of agents I spoke with. They have the recordings. But will they reveal them? I have nothing to hide. At this point it's about principal more than money! They cheated and lied to me, they will to others. I do still want them to refund the remaining $100 to me as well for many legit reasons!!
