I was shopping for a mortgage in Las Vegas and talking to Kari *** at Ratewise mortgage. I clearly told her that I don't want them to pull my credit but willing to share my income data and tax returns to check if they can review the data.
Kari assured me that they are not going to pull my credit and asked me to use a bogus social security # when I submit my loan application to them since they don't allow to submit a loan application without social security #. I used a bogus social security # and submitted loan application. To my dismay I see a credit inquiry on *** credit report which cost me 2 points on my credit score this morning
