Review: Ratner Company / [redacted] for hair practice unfair price gouging through their hair consultations for dying hair. For example, if they feel that the potential customer is unwitting then they will quote a extremely high price that is in no way in line with their competitors pricing , but then when another customer comes in , they will give a lower price if they feel they can not be as easily taken advantage of .Desired Settlement: I feel that both a apology , as well as this corporation looking into how they price their consultations with customers , as well as corporate oversight of individual locations could go a long way in assuring that their customers receive a fair market value price for services rendered .

Review: I received a perm from their Hair Cuttery Salon in [redacted]. She was suppose to cut my hair as well and did this after my perm. I now have choppy layers which I didn't ask for. I had to return a week later to get the perm fixed because it didn't take in differnet spots. Atfer the first wash I noticed that if I didn't put a bunch of product in my hair it was just wavy not curly. Two weeks later I emailed their customer care and received an email that someone would contact me with two business days. A week goes by so I call the customer care line. I was told someone would contact me in two business days. Three days go by and I call again and received a reference number and was told the district leader would call me. She finally called me at 7 something in the evening wanting me to come in again and get a partial refund, at this time I agreed. She called me the next day and I told her I would rather have a full refund and not have my hair fall out from too many perms trying to be done. She got upset with me and then said she'd verify my address for a full refund in a check form and have it to me in around two weeks. She never called to verify my address so I then called after a week and a half of waiting. I was told again someone would contact me in two business days. The salon manager finally calls me to verify my address and says it will be there by the end of the week. I received a letter from them with a [redacted] debit card for twenty dollars less than my full refund. I have called three times since this to get it straightened out and been given the run around even more. This is not what I agreed upon and I am very dissatisfied and disgusted with the way they tried to handle this.Desired Settlement: I want my full refund and to keep the debit card they sent for all the frustration, run around and extra hair products I had to buy to give my hair the curl I wanted.

We are happy to report our Regional Leader contacted [redacted] yesterday and all matters have been resolved. The company will be sending [redacted] another debit card making up the difference from the previous debit card and [redacted] agreed this would satify her complaint.

The debit card has been processed and the card will be mailed out today.
