Review: A reservation had been made at the Ravel Hotel at the rate of $169 per night. I was assured of, and the hotel advertised a restaurant and bar on site. On arrival on 6/*/15,, and before check in, I learned that there was no restaurant or bar available due to a private party. Specifically, I was forced to leave the floor with the restaurant/bar as it wasn't open to guests. The desk clerk was advised of my reason for not staying at the hotel and he understood. I was not advised of a charge to my credit card. On 6/*/15 I reviewed my charge account and learned of a $198 charge. I attempted twice to contact the [redacted] and he has refused to return my call.Desired Settlement: Charge of $198 refunded, and Revdex.com use of the information. In hindsight, multiple travel sites have negative reviews of this hotel.

Review: When I checked in to the hotel, I was asked to sign a document for which the [redacted] explained that the documents states that I am being allotted a non-smoking room and I understand that & would not smoke inside the room. My credit card details was charged $150 as a security deposit. Nothing else was told to me. When my wife later checked with the [redacted] about the beverages in the room (except coffee - which was free), she was told that all the beverages in the room has already been charged along with the booking amount.

I would have used few cold drinks and juices, but the Hotel has now charged $65.33 on my credit card. When I tried talking to them about the issue , the response was "we would have never said so & you signed in the document for this charged" & the price list was inside some box, which I did not see during my stay. Per drinks the company is charging $5+tax.

I really feel cheated & breach of trust as I did not read the document fully before signing on it. I still don't know if anything about the charges were mentioned in the document I signed or not.Desired Settlement: I would like the money to be refunded as the hotel miss-informed when I checked about the beverages.

Here at Ravel Hotel, all rooms are equipped with minibars and signs of pricing as well. The drinks in the room total to an amount more than the cost of the room, this is why it is not complimentary.
