Luck of the draw
Have had my Ravencrest OTF for going on 5 years, have had it as my EDC for 4 of those five. over the last year the blade locking in place on its opening has become a luck of the draw, usually once out of every 5 or 6 openings the blade will slip off its internal guide and fail to open or remain open. Sadly this makes the knife unreliable an regulated to the shelf inlieu of my pocket. Being my first OTF, loved the knife.

Impressive Quality Knife
I've read the reviews and am disappointed to hear that the parts are made in China (only assembled in AZ) but that being said, I'm thoroughly impressed with the Cerakote Titan Bravo knife that I received. It's a little bulky and doesn't feel quite as precision-made as Microtec front-opening knives but very solid and reliable so far. At the cost of Microtec knives I'd be afraid to actually USE them. All of these knives (Microtec, Protec, Ravencrest.. ) are over-priced for what they truly are but the warranty and customer service is what will produce a good company. So far so good.

The Knife of the month club only lasts as long as they want it to, things worked flawlessly until they decided they no longer wanted to continue the service. I called and asked what the hold up was and they tried to tell me that my payment was not valid, gave them they same information and got one more month just to have it end again. I tried to resolve over the phone, but I was never able to continue the service. If you can get them to honor their program, it makes great stocking stuffers and other gifts., but after being made to feel like I was some kind of mooch, Ravencrest Tactical lost my business forever.

I have a ravencrest tactical otf knife I bought and use daily a year ago. I have no problem with it. The coating is very durable and is still 100 o/o intact. Steel quality is good. Holds a edge well. The price is reasonable, far better than $300 to $590 overpriced items. I can maintain it myself without voided warranty. Keep up the good work.

As a result of everything with the customer, we are sending him out a 3rd knife to replace the one the he says was never received. Hi, My new ravencrest appears to operate good. I do believe they are way overpriced for parts made in China. I will probably return mine because I am just too afraid to carry this knife for protection. Frank D.

I was just wondering how the hell those Chinese knock offs made it through those torture test. Oh I see they probably had to use 20 of them for 1 little video. Camera magic duh.lol I'll stick with my microtechs.

THEY SUCK!THE PRODUCT SUCKS THEY ARE SO CHEAP AND THEY LIE I BOUGHT 8 KNIVES FIRST WITH A 15% DISCOUNT THEN WHEN A BUDDY OF MINE BOUGHT 10 THEY WOULDN'T HONOR A DISCOUNT. I KNOW WHEN YOUR MILITARY YOU GET 10% OFF WHEN ANOTHER FRIEND OF MINE WROTE THEM ASKING THE OWNER SCOT SAID ONLY 5%. WITHIN A MONTH THE SPRING BROKE THE PAINT CHIPS OFF. EVEN THOUGH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS WONDERFUL THIS LADY WAS SO NICE And HELPFUL I THINK HER NAME WAS LAUREN MAYBE. I WOULD ONLY ORDER AGAIN IF SHE WOULD HELP ME.
THEN I FOUND OUT AT A SHOW I WENT TO LORI WAS TELLING ME THEY WERE MADE IN CHINA WHY DOESN'T IT SAY THAT ON THERE WEBSITE I NOW WORK FOR THE UNION AND ONLY ALLOWED TO HAVE AMERICAN MADE THINGS SO BUYING THIS KNIFE I CAN'T EVEN USE AT MY JOB THAT'S WHY I BOUGHT IT.

Raven Crest Tactical delivers exactly what they claim to. Customer service is top-notch. They answer e-mail promptly, and in the event that you call them, you actually get to speak to a real person. The quality of the products for the price are hard to beat, especially by some of the bigger name brands. I use my knife every day, and so far there has not been any problems.

Wow.... Raven Crest Tactical!!!!!

The experience there is awful!

They lie, they are rude, they Make a $50 dollar knife and charge x3 the amount and they are made in china they tell people that they are made here in the U.S.

that's what the guy James said over the phone I would never recommend them they are cheap and they have cheap parts that's why they break all the time

This "company" is a complete fraud. Their website says "Our mission is to build and develop tactical products" and "Raven Crest strives to create quality tactical products that have high value". Are you serious? Every single item they offer - bar none - is a Chinese counterfeit of a Microtech product. These are con men and people in the know are aware of their scam. They develop nothing. They create nothing. They buy illegal Chinese knock-offs, package them under their name, and pass them off as their own. These people are pure crooks, whose sole mission is to make false claims, violate intellectual property rights, and screw the consumer.
