Contacted through [redacted] book to purchase our car for a fixed price based on the condition of our vehicleReceived email and spoke to customer service that we would receive the fixed price or higher if the condition was as noted I explained we wanted to assure the terms since we would need to travel out of our way to get there She confirmed the agreementThe representative at the dealership confirmed the car was in good condition Then the manager came out and said he could not pay us what was offered because of a recall issue Even though we had provided the year, make and model of our car through the [redacted] book website

They keep sending the same response and I am not happy with it

We are sorry to hear of Mr [redacted] was not satisfied with the experience of [redacted] making a purchase offer on his vehicle Unfortunately today's manufacturer recalls have effected the value of some vehicle Ray [redacted] would be happy to issue the $requested on his complaint covering expenses to remedy his concern Please let us know if we should mail the check to his current address? We will be happy to address Mr*** concerns. We will gladly refund the $requested related to the trailer hitch. The check will be mailed out to Mr*** on or before 2/17/17. As far as local municipal taxes, those additional fees and taxes are the customers
responsibility. When retailing vehicles out of state we use a service which provides state specific tax and tag fees. There may be additional fees required by local counties, towns, or villages which a dealer would have no knowledge of, which would be the customers responsibility. We sincerely appreciate Mr*** business and hope this resolves his concerns

On july 18th I went to this dealership and we made a deal with the bank and bought a new vehical, we drove of the lot and went homeSigned all the paper work and everything, days later they said they didn't wana work with us and took our new vehical backThey then shredded all of our paper work and deleted our information They also were going to charged us over $for a new vehicle that was only worth $a month

Three years ago when I was there looking for a car they were just GREATafter all this years taking it to service, they seem to be not happy when a customer have mechanical or safety questions of the car they sold (quite pricey actually)...last year I had to bring the car times for the same electric issue within month an d a half! At the check out counter they barely acknowledge who is there to PAY a "service" one of the ladies on a personal phone call (I am not really interested on her family issues)and the second one barely looked at me and not even the "hi how are you" or "you are welcome" and have a great day when you are done GIVING THEM your business as they do when closing or trying to close a dealwait, they DO all these nice and polite things if you are white, not the first time son I am writing this review after I lived at least the last three times I've been thereI do NOT call this an equal customer serviceBecause at the end of the day, the money they are getting is all the same colorand then is no any difference made, right?

We are sincerely sorry Mr*** did not receive a return phone call regarding the vehicle he was interested in purchasing. Customer satisfaction is our number one goal at Ray Chevrolet. Should Mr*** at anytime wish to purchase a new or used vehicle from Ray Chevrolet, we would
like to extend and additional $discount off our advertised price. We would like to thank Mr*** for making us aware of his experience

after looking at the used car two problems were brought to the dealer's attention driver seat did not move, loud exhaust noise they brought out a similar vehicle for a test drive took test drive liked it when told the price for the similar car was to much said we would like the first car but they need to fix driver seat and exhaust came back at us with they will fix seat, exhaust they will take off price of car, said no, was told they would have there shop take a look a the problem and call us in am if muffler was to much to fix dealer never call us back believe they knew more wrong with the muffler than they were saying I was getting this car for my daughter so I call them later that nite left message for them to call me still no response

It's time to buy a car again and hopefully by Saturday our vehicle will be waiting on the lotThe dealership was great but it wasn't Ray Chevrolet and they will never receive our business againIt was the worst car shopping experience my wife and I have ever hadIts something you actually talk about with friends and family over a coffeeI get a kick out of their high approval ratings thoughObviously we have some bored salesmen trying to boost that rating while waiting for another sucker to walk in the door

Mr*** When you visited us on July 18th to purchase a vehicle you filled out an application to secure an auto financing loan from a bankOn that application you reported that you had been at your current job for months, are paid $per hour plus receive per week in overtime payThe
bank approved you for a loan with the stipulations of proofing your income and time on job that you reportedThis was explained to you and we gave you the vehicle to drive home with the understanding that the next day you would bring in the necessary documents to send to the bank to finalize the loanWhen you brought in your pay stubs it was discovered that you had only been on your job for months, are paid $per hour and receive only per week in overtime paySince this was in contradiction with your application the bank decided not to fund your loan, in which case we had no choice but to take our vehicle backTo address your question regarding your monthly payment being $per month instead of $per monthYour interest rate for you loan was 18.99% and you had negative equity on your trade in vehicle of $Factoring in these two figures is what raised your payment by an additional $per monthWe hope this is a sufficient explanation to satisfy your desired settlement

I was working with Ray Chevrolet on buying a Chevrolet crew cab
I was very pleased with the sales process so I made and offer to them of 48,Tax, title and everything includedThey accepted my offer and asked me where vehicle will be titled in, I said carroll county OH
We then added a Gosseneck hitch package for
I put down initially and financed 48,
They said they would refund me the difference of down and cost of gooseneck hitch
I never received refund
When I went in to title department to get my title done they said that Ray Chevrolet figured wrong tax rate of which is the State rate instead of which is Carroll County rateI feel they should pay this because my original offer of included tax and I don't feel it's my fault that they miscalculated the taxes
I had to pay to title department for extra taxes and title fee

We bought a truck and traded in our leaseAfter leaving with and driving our truck for 3months, they called to tell us that our financing did not go through and we needed to bring the truck back, we asked for our lease back and were told there was nothing tgey could do about that as they had already sold it, and they just wanted their truck back, we asked about a refund for the car and down payments and they did not respond to that, in the meantime we are paying and owe on a lease we no longer even haveUnder advice from a lawyer we did not return the truck, we needed it so they would make good on their part of the contractThey eventually came and took the truckAnd now we are without a vehicle and still have a bill for the leaseNo refund was made to us or offered to us honoring their part of the contractThey harassed me and my family, made threats and called my employers
