Mr. [redacted] had a total bill of 963.00. Insurance paid 222.00,a salvage company paid 350.00 he paid 391.00. Basic towing fees , lien fees and storage of 25.00 per day make up the 963.00. By law we do not have access to owners names or phone numbers until they contact us. This is why business cards are provided. According to company records he contacted us approximately 10 days later. Our fees have to be paid prior to vehicles leaving the premises. However; in his case we did allow his insurance company (once coverage was verified) to mail a check so storage would stop and the vehicle could be towed to the salvage company since he had made an agreement with them. If Mr. [redacted] had collision insurance on his vehicle then there would have been no expense to him. However; not having that type of insurance does incur personal responsibility if you are in an accident.I feel we went out of our way to accommodate him and provided a valued service and we should not be liable for choices made by others.

The issues here is it wouldn't been a lien or storage bill if Ray's Towing would have tow the Car to my House. The accident was less than 5 mile from my house. But your Drive advise me he couldn't because of insurance. I found out that was not the true. Other issues yes you gave me a business card, no knowledge of fees what it will cost. The business card let me know where my car is going. I don't work for the Towing Company or the Insurance Company. So as a consumer/customer I rely on info. of the company which none was provide. I was told by Ray Harris Towing that my insurance didn't cover anything. Lie number two, after calling my insurance it did cover towing, meaning the car could have been told to my house with or without insurance. Your regular price for towing is 50-75 dollar. Again I felt like I was taking advantage of because of the accident and knowing I had insurance which was told to the drive from the police. So it seems like Ray Harris trying to get all they can from me and the insurance company. Issues three you are still trying to get money from me after the bill has been paid. I got a letter of Lien for 507.00 on January 12,2016 file NO: [redacted]
