Let me not get into any arguements. The invoice was never raised as the customer refused to pay or let us remove the part or return the one which I had installed the first timeThe cost of one installed is $The customer can call *** at ###-###-#### and give the model number of the fridge and ask for price of water valve assemblyShe would get the retail price which is way higher that $89For hwa the price break up is as under$+ 40% mark up= $125Add labor hrs = $118.5@ $per hourtotal is $Add taxes @7.5% =$18.26Gross total $261.76HWA instructions are to give a better price to customer for work done directly. So, after discussion with hwa a price of $was agreedCost for customers who contact us directly is $275Since this customer has already paid $as service call fee, total due from her would be $165As a special gesture, I reduced it to $150Since the first water valve installed by me was not returned, I lost $thereAnyway, our bill is for $onlyThis is a very good price as it only allows us to cover our losses incurred due to parts purchased and taxes. An invoice foe this amount will be sent through USPS to the customer. No contact by phone/text/email will be made by usThanks

Home AdvisorRegardin customer complaint:The customer was told on day1 ( see text messages-for customer) that the ice maker may not be making ice due toWater valves being badIce maker could be badboth of the above could be badSince the ice maker did not have a self diagnostic arrangement on it, it was logical to check the water valves.all the water valves were working partially.Customer was informed about the situation and a go ahead for replacing the water valves was given by customer verbally.the inlet water valve was replaced first as a measure of cost control and also due to the fact the whole water valve assembly was not available locally. It was then noted that the ice maker water valve was also not working. Checked using external power source. Customer was curious about the diagnosis process and she was duly informed about all steps and technical aspects. Finally, the whole water valve assembly was replaced and after testing all water valves were found to be working fine. Ice maker however did not make ice as enquired by Ray-one at 11 pm. The water filter had not been replaced for a long time and it was felt that it should be replaced and Ray-One used its influence with a vendor to get a discount of $20 for the customer for which a 'Thanks' is still due from the customer.in the meantime an ice maker was procured and the customer was informed that Ray-one wanted to install it. It was also pointed out to the customer that she needs to pay $150 for installing the water valves. The customer flatly refused to pay for it and asked why the ice maker was not installed first Implying that the water valve was replaced unnecessarily.Ray-one asked the customer for permission to remove the water valve and install the ice maker and the customer agreed.later she went behind the back of Ray-One and asked HWA to send another tech to install the ice maker.Ray-One called one hour before heading out to her home to install the ice maker and was told not to come as another tech was being sent out by HWA.Ray-One requested to be allowed to remove the water valve and the customer refused. She even refused to part with the first new water valve installed by Ray-One stating that the old stuff has been trashed, which, was a lie as she texted to let me know that the water valves were in her custody.Ray-One agrees that this is a classic case of cheating. But it is for all readers to figure out as to who the cheat was.As far as texting late at night, it maybe pointed out that the customer herself texted at around 9.00 pm. Ray one had texted so late as it was decided that the customer will provide information regarding the working of ice maker at 11.00 pm. When the customer did not text, Ray One did and the customer texted Thanks after the texting was over.Ray-One reserves the right to take all possible legal measures to recover the money on account of hard work put in by its employee. No one can object to it including the customer. Ray-One has a record of all text messages exchanged and will use it legally wherever required.Ray-One would like to thank the customer for raising this issue at Revdex.com. At least Ray-One got a chance to explain its side of the story.Calling HWA and checking if Ray-One had raised any fictitious invoice against the job done also helped as HWA is now aware that this company does not indulge in these practices. Many, many thanks

No explanation of fees was made. No invoice has ever been received to explain what is due. Please provide a detailed explanation of all fees in writing. Do not contact me in any way other than writing. Business has been unprofessional at every opportunity. I also have text messages to show that this business has been fraudulent during making repairs.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.
