I have reviewed the complaint registered with your office regarding [redacted] ***Upon further investigation into this issue, here are some comments regarding his complaint;The vehicle was sold and delivered to the customer on November 20, The customer also purchased another car from us at on the same dayI have attached all required paperwork regarding the transactionAs you will see, everything was disclosed to the customer, including the need for “compliance bushings”The vehicle was sold “as is”, meaning that we disclose to the customer what the vehicle will need to PASS PENNSYLVANIA STATE VEHICLE INSPECTIONWe will then give the customer repair prices and offer to complete the needed repairs at the customer's expenseWe also communicate with the buyer that there is NO WARRANTY and the obligation to inspect the vehicle is the buyers alone.It is very important to know that the customer had the compliance bushings replaced at his own repair facility, not oursThis was BEFORE the transmission failedI asked the customer if his own mechanic identified a problem with the transmission while they worked on itHe stated to me that they had NOTWe did not know there was an internal issue with the transmissionAgain, car was sold “as is" with 142,miles on it.All that being Said, I was willing to assist the customer with the repair costs that are required by offering either a discounted repair rate or parts discount.If you require anything else, please feel free to contact me directly Regards, Chuck M***Ray Price Honda-Mazda-Volvo

The customer, *** ***, brought in her own set of new tires to be mounted and balancedThe tires initially balanced, but the customer came back later with a vibration concern at higher highway speedsWhen checking vehicle for vibration, we closely inspected the tires and found all were slightly "out of round"We informed the Customer and documented it for them so they could go back to wheretires were purchasedRayPrice Ford then re-balanced the tires and rotated the worst "out of round" tires to the back of vehicle to minimize the tire vibrationFor this extra work, Ray Price Ford charged the customer $If the customers desire a refund, they should contact the place where they purchased the set of tires.If you have any questions about this matter, feel free to contact me.Thank you for your time,Walter PriceRay Price Ford Chevrolet###-###-####

I purchased a certified pre owned Honda Accord from Ray Price Honda In Sept Never had accident or issue with the vehicleIn Sept the transmission started leaking and caused the car to smoke while on route I called my mechanic to asked him what he thought it could be and he had me bring it inOn my way to the mechanic a few minutes later the smoking increased and the car would not accelerate on the road it began to slow down while going up hillI barely made it to the mechanicThe mechanic explained that the transmission fluid was flooding the vehicle and it had to be drained out before he could see what the issue wasOn the following Monday I called Honda care and they told me to have the vehicle towed to the nearest dealership to see what was going onThe replaced the transmission after inspection and deliberation but still did not know what the cause of the malfunction could have beenI picked up the car on Friday evening after the repairBy Monday afternoon the car is leaking and I now feel unsafeThis is my only car I have a child I take to school daily and I'm afraid the car is unsafeI want to know what my options and rights areI'm financing the car through Honda and I'm afraid if the car is faulty will they tell me the truth and what if I'm in danger Do I have to keep this vehicle with this uncertainty Shouldn't I have an option to get a car I feel safe in?

I am very dissatisfied with Ray Price Ford in Mount Pocono, PA I bought a used 4xfrom them in and was initially pleased with the service they provided After having my jeep less than a week, the engine light came on and it stopped in the middle of the highway on my way to work I had my jeep towed back to them and they kept it for weeks fixing the transmission After I got my car back, I noticed the acceleration was very choppy, the front and back air conditioning was not working properly and the passenger side window was not able to roll down Unfortunately, these repairs were not covered under my warranty After having the jeep for years and not wanting to deal with anymore hassles or repairs, I tried to trade it in for another vehicle The dealership I went to provided me with a 4-page C*** report on all the problems and accidents with my jeep and informed me it was a "Lemon Buy Back" I then called Ray Price and spoke with Shelley the office manager and she informed that she knew nothing about this I was referred to this dealership on the basis that they were a honest dealership The salesman David J*** that helped me tried his best to push this vehicle on me and never told me about the jeep's historyIf you take the risk and buy from this dealership, please get a C*** report and save yourself money and misery

I am rejecting this response because: The review I had left on a website which was also included by Chuck, was done after I was given a bad deal from his other Manager LouI felt that Chuck as he stated, was willing to assist me with my issue but Lou only gave me two optionsPay out the for the transmission or give him for a year old car with double the milesI did not feel that was a good enough deal so I posted my reviewWhen the transmission went out, Lou contacted me and tried to help as best as he couldI understand by leaving a bad review, it hurts anyone working for the companyMy issue here is I have a car that myself and wife purchsed for the familyWe took our savings and tried to put it into a reliable car to move our kids around but instead we have a car sitting and paying insurance on something we cannot useI am willing to remove my comments and complaints if Chuck can meet me half way on the Please let me know if you should need anything elseThank you

RayPrice Ford then re-balanced the tires and rotated the worst "out of round" tires to the back of vehicle to minimize the tire vibration. For this extra work, Ray Price Ford charged the customer $21.15. If the customers desire a refund, they should contact the place where they purchased the set of tires.

I have attached my original letter that I wrote to you on January 7, 2015. That letter included all of the “as is” sales disclosures that Mr. [redacted] acknowledged and signed off on at the time of sale. Enclosed with this letter is the actual Google review Mr. [redacted] posted after we first spoke.To add to my previous comments, I would simply say that the 2005 Pilot exhibited no transmission issues that we needed to disclose at the time of sale. We would have notated them with the other recommendations. The transmission is a sealed unit and unless there is visible damage/leakage, we can NOT see the parts inside. As I previously stated, if we failed to disclose to Mr. [redacted] that there was a transmission issue, then the garage who replaced the compliance bushings would have reported a slippage/noise/leaking while they moved or had the Pilot up on the lift or on a test drive. Again, the car was sold “as is” with 142,032 miles on it and NO warranty as if documentedI was willing to assist the customer with the repair costs that are required by offering either a discounted repair rate or parts discount. The selling price of the truck never changed. We have offered, and will offer again, to have the customer return and review the sales numbers. He is also welcome to bring someone else with him to review the transaction. All prices on the finance contract are the same...

as both the Buyers order and the work sheet. The issue seems to be a lack of understanding on the option upgrades, sales tax and license fees, and perhaps interest charges on the 72 month loan. The "Total Selling Price" shown on the finance contract is, as required by Federal Regulation, higher than the agreed purchase price because it includes taxes, fees, interest charges, etc. Again, we will be happy to again review and explain each fee, tax, and charge to the customer.Feel free to contact us with any questions.
