There is no negotiation regarding this complaint The problems arose and 1/years ago and my warranty expires after two yearsHowever, to show good faith I did offer to repair the roof using my own supplies and personnel but he refused it He wanted me to hire a roofing company to do the work and I declined since I offered to fix out of my own pocket
My wife and I bought a foreclosure while I was deployed to Afghanistan and she was staying with her parents in georgia with our new born and month oldWe used a 203k loan through gateway mortgage company to purchase the house and pay for the repairs neededThe loan officer told my wife that we had to choose a contractor from the mortgage companies listWe hired Ray, he was one of two on the list, the other being two hours awayHis bid was to replace roof, new floor hardwood and carpet, remove wall paper and paint kitchen, new hvac system, and general repairs for a grand total of $29,During the process, there was no one available to check on Ray and track his progressThe only updates we received were from Ray, and everything seemed to be going fine while we were awayDuring the repairs there were a few issues ray found that he didn't bid originallyOne item being window well covers for the basement windows to prevent the basement from floodingOnce it was time for my fa
