I bought two wooden sheds from [redacted], built on site with very poor workmanship and service, empty promises on fixing it and no response to emails& callsIn the spring of 2015, I needed a wooden shed at the lake to store my belongings my cabin was falling down due to high water levels, I went to castle ([redacted]) and ran into [redacted], the hired carpenter, who builds the sheds, told him of problem and needed it now. He wasn't busy so he said he could build it asap, so I bought it and they built it out at the lake. Not being a carpenter myself, I didn't know what to look for when it was done, I did point out how rough one of the roof pieces were cut, that it didn't reach the peak and the bugs, bats and other things could get in. I was told to caulk it, which I thought was poor answer. I was on a time restraint, I live in BC and only had a few days to start packing and moving my belonging etc. I was grateful to [redacted] for building it while I was there. I sent a thank you card to the owner, [redacted] saying how grateful I was for [redacted] work that weekend etc. but found out as time went on this was premature words. I went back home and I texted [redacted] and said I needed a another shed at easter and was on a time limit, needed to finish moving, so the shed must be done when I arrive, I only had a few days to finish and I was traveling 10 hrs. He assured me to pay for itand the shed would be there when I arrived. I sent the cheque 3 weeks before I went to sk with a note that it was for another shed and [redacted] and I had talked about building it. the cheque was cashed but to my shock and disappointment [redacted] it was not built when I arrived at the lake to finish my moving on a long weekend after driving ten hrs to finish this task and missing work.No warning, not call, no email , no text nothing..I was on a deadline and wasn't sure what I was going to do, as the men I hired to take down the failing cabin were waiting to do their job. I thought I had it all planned and timed. I had to leave my things outside, unprotected until I returned in summer. I was not impressed, they had my money for three weeks. I texted [redacted],no answer and phoned [redacted] when I returned home, to say [redacted] how I spent all that money to travel to SK, to finish this job and I had paid the money and I had nothing and no one even told me, I had to arrive and find out for myself. He said they would make it up to me what did I want? anything done?..I said, some simple wooden planks steps up the hill and caulking of the last mess in the first shed. He said no problem,I will talk to him and you just tell lance so I texted [redacted] and told him as they had spoke on this and I was reassured again, no problem it will be done and your second shed will be built asap so when I return in summer it will be there. Nothing was ever done as promised and no one ever answered to it the empty promises. The second shed was a absolute disaster of workmanship, it wasn't completed, u could see large light thought it every where, it wasn't square so the flashing and roof parts were not put on, just left on ground. I [redacted] wondered if [redacted] even did it or hired someone without the skills to build it properly, as it is building busy time. I hired carp. to fix so nothi I took pictures of all the problems, phoned [redacted] and told him, sent him all the pictures, he said he would come out to see it,I sent him 2 times to meet me and no response. I texted [redacted] and told him how awful this shed was built and no promises met, nothing, no response from either. I then sent two emails saying if I don't hear from him to resolve this I was going to contact Revdex.com and I heard nothing except email from staff,saying they gave [redacted] , owner the message and I emailed and they will give it to him again. [redacted]Desired SettlementI think I should get AT LEAST 1000.00, half of the shed costs of store credit or refund, [redacted]
