Review: We moved into a new construction house from Rayer Builders in June of 2013. In less than a year we've have several issues, none of which the builders feels are his problem to fix. We were using our oven last night and the CO alarms went off. I called 911 and the fire department along with [redacted] came to the house. Our CO reading in the house was over 60ppm. [redacted] determined that our oven/stove was not properly installed and needed a technician to fix it. They turned the stove on and the CO level immediately shot up. It turns out that it was a mixture of CO and another chemical that was being emitted. I called the builder and his message was call ** and call me if there are any other issues. This is the amount of concern that I get? Im sure you realize that this couldve killed us and our pets. The fire company told us that if we were to cook something for longer than 2 hours in the oven it wouldve caused the house to fill with so much CO that if anyone was home we couldve been killed. These are other things that have been installed incorrectly during my time in the house:1. Dishwasher flooded the kitchen during inspection2. Garbage disposal had multiple nails in it3. Two outside hose bibs did not work one still doesnt4. The plumbers assistant couldnt install the fridge water line I fixed it myself5. The upstairs laundry room didnt contain an overflow tray that is required by code6. The guest bathroom has a leak behind the wall near the shower head that hasnt been fixedDesired Settlement: I think you as the builder are responsible for the incorrect installation of all the appliances and other issues in this new house. I should not have to deal with this issues, especially when my family's life is at risk. I fully expect you to replace/fix all these issues ASAP.
