On 8/17/I sent an employee to *** *** *** *** *** ** *** after I had received a call from a man the night before requesting serviceMy employee arrived to the job and looked over the RinnaiHe called me and said that the Rinnai had not been serviced per the homeowner and he
was afraid that because of the banging noise the unit was making that the burner was cloggedI told him to do whatever he needed to do to get the hot water working againHe pulled the burner out and it was full of bugs and debris he sent me pictures that I can forward to anyone that needs clarification of the state that the Rinnai was inOnce he put the unit back together he tried to run it again and the unit would still not fireHe then removed the turbine in the water supply side that spins with water flow to make the unit come onThis part was brokenHe called the local supply houses for the part but no one had any in stock due to the age of the unitI told him to ask the homeowner if they wanted us to get the part overnighted and she said no she could shower next door she did not want to pay the extra fee for next day deliveryWe ordered the partWhile this was going on I remembered the day before we had replaced an older Rinnai at another residenceI told my employee to go and get that unit and remove the part from it to see if it would work for her so that she would have hot water until the new part came in on MondayHe went to Seaford and picked it up but the parts did not matchWe left and told her we would be back first thing MondayMonday at a.mmy employee returned to the home and installed the new turbineHe tested the unit multiple times and it worked fineI received a call from the Homeowner that night at 7:p.msaying that the unit was not working againI told her I would have him out the next morning to check it outShe did not want that worker back saying he took too long and she didn’t think he knew what he was doingI assured her he knows what he is doing but I would send another technicianThe employee that was there was Rinnai level trained which is as high as Rinnai training and troubleshooting goesI have the certificate if someone would need itThe next day I get a call from the son saying they have lost faith in my work even though we had fixed the unit and then another problem aroseHe then said that he did not want me sending anyone else out to the house that they were calling someone elseI did not understand where the frustration was from because we had put a lot of effort into working on the RinnaiI asked him about payment for the parts I had purchased and installed and my time I had investedHe said send your bill if you want but we will not pay it we will see you in courtI sent the bill anyway for $That is for hours labor plus $for parts I feel this is fair since I had paid a man over hours to work on it and run around to try and get her water on for the weekendThey have not paid and turned me in to the Revdex.com
