Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because I never stated that I had a policy with this company I still have not had an update from the adjuster [redacted] concerning the matter of the claim I was told in the beginning that when contact was made with the insured that he could not speak English, now it seems that after your initial contact with the insured that the company cannot get a response I guess the voicemail I have from the driver stating that it was her fault is not valid at all I have lost time on my job due to this accident and now it seems as if all measures of speaking with the insured is invalid Regards, [redacted]

Thank you for your inquiry After reviewing this claim we can see that Western General Insurance Services, the company that handles claims for Home State on this policy, has a requirement to speak with the named insured and/or driver of the vehicle involved in the accident in order to understand the facts Without this contact and a recorded statement by the insured and/or driver the claim can not be moved forward As of today Western General made phone attempts and sent letters to the insured/driver in order to speak with her about the accident and has been unsuccessful Therefore this claim file is being closed for non-cooperation If the insured/driver does contact Western General they will re-open the claim and do a full investigation In the meantime, this consumer should contact his own insurance company and proceed with a claim with them

Please accept this letter as receipt and acknowledgement of the complaint filed by *** ***. We are a managing general agency for Home State County Mutual Insurance Company and are therefore providing a response It should be noted that Mr*** is not a policyholder with our
Company and therefore this complaint should be “Out of Purview” of the Revdex.com. This claim was reported on 4/25/2016. The claim was set up and assigned to an adjuster. On 4/26/the adjuster called our insured twice and left a message requesting a return call. He then called Mr*** and obtained his version of the loss. He was advised at that time that we needed a statement from our insured to be able to confirm his involvement as well as coverage and liability for the loss. We sent a letter requesting contact to the insured On 5/5/we called the insured’s agent and left a message asking them to ask the insured to call us if he came into their office to make a payment. On 5/31/we called the insured again and left a message. We also called the agent again On 6/13/we called the insured and the agent again with no response. We then sent a Reservation of Rights letter to the insured requesting he contact us or he could be putting his coverage in jeopardy. If we get no response to this letter within a few more days, we will have no choice but to deny coverage for failure to cooperate as required by the terms of his policy. We are sorry to hear that Mr*** has had difficulty getting in touch with the adjuster. However, his allegations of “coaching” the insured not to contact us are inappropriate and unfounded. We fully understand Ms*** frustration, but we can't pay a claim without confirmation. She would not want her insurance company to pay a claim made against her without speaking to her first. Furthermore, per the terms of the insurance policy, our insured has a duty to cooperate or her coverage it put in jeopardy. If Ms*** had a policy with our company, we would be happy to handle her claim. Unfortunately, for this claim, that is not the case. Should we hear from our insured, we will work to quickly resolve the claim. If not, we will be sending a denial of coverage letter. Hopefully, Ms*** has uninsured motorist coverage on her policy and will be able to have all her claims paid under her policy in the event we are forced to deny coverage.Sincerely,*** ***, **

I am rejecting this response because:This is not an answer this is a run around They insure a driver that wrecked into my property destroying my fence I provided the police report of this to the office who told me that a adjuster would be in contact Then I could not get anyone on the phone until I became impatient a week later after they would not return repeated phone calls Now they again do not return phone calls, have admitted that the insurance was valid but tell me it could take months of investigating to determine if the coverage will cover the driver It is a stall tactic hoping I will just be ok with the thousands of dollars of damage the driver caused to my property The insured driver, by law, must have had minimum liability which is required to cover any damage caused This insurance company is just not wanting to do what they are requied to do by law and will not answer questions or calls in regards to this matter

I am rejecting this response because:the response does not constitute a resolution to this concernI appreciate the follow up from the Revdex.com complaint, however the issue still existShould be against business practices to allow an unresponsive customer, to determine the outcome of damage property when the party is a covered clientIf no response from a customer in days, the insurance company should proceed with statement received by default and deal with their client independentlyIf this client continues to be a customer after not responding, that would create serious doubt in the legitimacy of your insurance companyI'll continue to purse this wrong doing until the problem is corrected and addressed.

I am rejecting this response because: The adjuster ask me an untrained accident ivestigator to provide percise measurments to themThen of course they denid the claim station a difference in the measurmentThere were several witinesses as well and police response to this hit and runi will provide call sheets, and police reports as soon as they are readyThe fact that my neighbors were outside and saw your insured hit my vehicle, as well as took photos of the license plates that were provided to the polive makes your stance as responsible clearly evidentI will continue to persue all avenues until you own upYou cannot ask the parties involved in the accident to provide photographic evidenceThat can simply be altered by moving the measuring tape which you cannot even see the end so how can you tell that it's accurate? After speaking to my insurance company, I was told they always investigate that stuff by trained personnelWhat an awful practice! Your Revdex.com reviews are awful as well as AFA claims! It's really sad that you are allowed to do business in this state

Regarding Claim # CTX*** - Insured - *** ***First, it should be noted that the person filing this complaint is not a policyholder with our Company and the complaint should therefore be "Out of Purview" of the Revdex.com.Second, this claim was just reported to us by *** *** on
12/4/by phone. The adjuster called both our insured and Ms*** on 12/8/and left a message for them to call him for a statement as they did not answer the phone. In this complaint, Ms*** indicates a date of loss of 10/3/2015. We need to know for sure what the date of loss was in this claim. If she can fax us a copy of the police report to *** with the claim number written on it, that would be very helpful and might speed up her claim. Your inquiry concerning the above subject directed to Home State County Mutual Insurance Company has been forwarded to our office for the appropriate reply as we are their authorized claims service. The complainant is a third-party claimant who contacted our office on April 29, 2016 to file the...

first report of an accident which occurred on that date. He reported that our insured drove onto his property damaging his fence. We have been in regular communication with the claimant who seems to be extremely impatient and demands that this matter be paid without any further delay, however, we are in the mist of conducting a coverage investigation that may reveal there is no coverage for our insured for the subject loss. When we complete our investigation we will advise Mr. [redacted] of our decision in this matter. If the claim is denied he can pursue a claim directly against the party responsible for the damage to his fence, or he can pursue recovery through his homeowner's insurance. If it turns out that there is coverage for this loss then we will further process his claim accordingly, but I hasten to add that, preliminarily, it does not appear that there will be coverage for this matter.
