Review: I brought my Rolex watch in to Raymond's jewelry creations to be serviced and paid close to $350.00 for the work. After a little over one month, the stem of the watch came loose and would not stay in place. This was a new development with the watch, as it did not do this prior to the service work. Raymond's took my money, as I have the cancelled check. The man who "fixed" the watch had a medical issue, and as sorry as I am that happened, my watch is now broken. My husband brought the watch in to Raymond's to let them know and they said that the repair man was sick and wouldn't be back until January and that I was out of luck until then. They did offer to send the watch to Rolex, but that would be at an extra cost to me. They never once, in good faith, offered to refund the money in order for me to get the watch fixed properly. I feel that they should have stood behind the work instead of telling my husband "You're out of luck. We can't do anything about it. We can send it to Rolex." Now after paying $350, I have to go spend another probably $200 to get the watch repaired. Had I brought it to a reputable place to begin with, they would have stood behind the work instead of "hold on to the watch until January."Desired Settlement: As I asked for in the store while on the phone with my husband, I would like the $350 returned to me so I can have the watch properly repaired.
