We tried to explain that we bought this cover as a safety cover so removing it to send for inspection was not an option as it would leave our pool open to our visually impaired dogs. We have, recently been able to secure the pool and are now sending the cover back to Rayner. You cannot compare this pool cover and a car. A car, when broke down, is not a safety issue. This pool cover, when not in place, presents a safety issue to our animals.
There is NO mention of this cover being only for winter use in any literature from the company...website, brochure, warranty card, or distributor. There is no mention that our animals should only be safe from the pool in the winter. I would assume when you are touting something as a a "safety" item, that you mean it will provide safety whenever you need it. Not just what you want to say in order to not cover your warranty.
Yes I did read my warranty card which is why you need to fulfill your end of the bargain. I bought this cover to ensure the back yard was safe for our animals....yes they are in the back yard year round. If this cover is not meant for year round use, it should not be listed as a safety cover! If your product does not stand up to Arizona weather, don't sell it here. If you are not going to abide by your warranty, don't give one. I have included the original email I sent to Rayner oct of last year.
