Ron in the Showroom was wonderful to work with, kept me informed of any issues with orders and informed us right away when the orders was in houseBonnie in the office kept us informed of manufacture issued due to a color variance in the tile from the manufacture and a refund was done in a timely fashionThe guys in the warehouse were nice and attentive every time we came into the warehouse which was oftenI recommend all my family and friends to Rayo The Owner are doing things Right at this company!
Horrible experience from top to bottom
I have been there over 3x to pick carpet with the rep - story changed every time, couldn't get the color/styles right, so confused and a total messI told him my install date weeks in advance in multiple emails, I have the thread evenFinally got pricing and availability, he told me to order by Friday morning no problem and I would have the carpet by the following Tuesday/WednesdaySo I set up my painters and the carpet installer for the following Thursday to give enough time, sent my payment info to get the carpet to RAYO Santee, then I get a call, carpet will not be here until Friday at some pointNOW WHAT DO I DO?? I have contracted with a painter and carpet installer and have the week scheduled to move furniture out and my wife and kids out of all our bedrooms to get this all done so we are not without bedrooms for weeksTotally screwed me and when I called, he was pissed that I would even dare to lay any blame on him, would not take any responsibility or accountability and did not care one bitWORST COMPANY, WORST SERVICE EVER
Non existent customer serviceBoth in the showroom and on the phoneIn the showroom I was just pointed to the area with the product I was looking forI asked if someone could come help me, asked twiceWas there minutes...was totally ignoredAnd no, they were not busyOn the phone I was talked to rudely, like I was bothering himThe salesman said he would check on my question and call me back in a few minutesNever got a call backThey must be so busy they don't care if they lose businessVery sad
Rayo Wholesale are a bunch of crooks!!!! Stay away!
My wife & I went to Rayo Wholesale in Escondido on September 11, and purchased over $16,of wood floors from a salesmen named ShermanThe next day at the close of business hours one of our other contacts for wood floors reached out to us & we let him know what we purchased & he was able to get us the same exact order for $2,cheaper, so first thing Thursday morning we called Rayo to cancel the order
At that point Sherman of Rayo threatened us with a restocking fee of over $3,and said that the wood was already shipped to themTurns out that was a LIE because the rep for the wood manufacturer called my other distributor and asked him about the canceled order with Rayo to see if his order was the same peopleSo the wood was en route and they simply delivered to the other wood distributor instead of Rayo, no need for re stocking(BTW the disclaimer of restocking is on the bottom line of reciept AFTER you purchase, no discussion of it before)
A week later Sherman from Rayo calls me and asks if I want this order still, I let him know that we found out that they did not receive the wood & that there is no need for restocking because we purchased the exact same wood order from someone elseAt this he asks for my credit card again so he can credit me back the amount but I ask about the restocking fee & then he says I'm liable for a transfer fee which is not in writing on any of the paper work they gave to me
I had to file a dispute with my credit card company & have yet to hear from the owner, who I've asked to speak to
So if you are shopping around trying to get the least marked up price for your flooring stay away from Rayo Wholesale, they are a complete pain to deal with & they will do their best to screw you if you don't purchase their overpriced wood from them
