On the positive side, they were friendly, did good work, and I thought the price was reasonable. My chimney sustained minor damage in a windstorm and they fixed it.
On the negative side: Good Lord these people are high maintenance! They do not schedule appointments. I was put on a list and told that the tech would drop by in the next 5-7 business days. He would call me about an hour before he showed up.
When I said that I work during the day and could not necessarily get home with only an hour's notice, they seemed baffled. My suggestion: how about a phone call the night before and an estimate of the time (am or pm)? That seemed kind of weird to them, but they agreed.
Two weeks passed. No phone call. I called them. They were nearby and would try to drop by. Nope. A week later I finally got a call. They could be there in an hour, would I be ready? Uh, no. They agreed to show up the next day. They did and we got it done.
Weird! Who doesn't schedule appointments?
