Mrs. [redacted] complaint involved her retail installment  contract due date.
 
Mrs. [redacted] requested to have her payment  date changed to at least the  4th of the month to better accommodate her situation.
 
On the 16th day...

past the due date a retail installment contract may imposed a $5.00 late charge or 5% of  the amount of payment whichever  is greater. 
In order to remedy this late charge,  we requested the assignee of the contract,  Mr. [redacted], Manager of [redacted] Co., [redacted] [redacted]  to have his corporate office change the due date so there would be no late charges assessed to Mrs. [redacted].
 
Mr. [redacted] called Mr. [redacted], Factory Furniture sales associate,  and advised him that  [redacted] corporate had  changed the due date on Mrs. [redacted] contracted so she would not have a late charge.
This contract due date change remedied Mrs. [redacted] situation.
