To Whom It May Concern:I am going to make this real simple. Enclosed is the sales slip that [redacted] signed as the bill of sale on June 28, 2013. Under warranty information it is stated that the Yamaha and trailer were sold “as is no warranty” from Ray’s Motor Service...

Inc. However there is a 2 year warranty on the engine from [redacted]. That warranty is not Ray’s Motor Service Inc.’s but the motor company. I also enclosed a copy of [redacted]’s warranty that is warranted by any shop that sells and service [redacted] motors. This Yamaha Wave Runner has always started and ran good; however it never had the top speed of most Yamaha FX140 Wave Runners. Top speed for this unit was about 40 to 43 mph; most will go 50 to 55 mph.I personally took this unit to [redacted] Lake in [redacted], PA several times trying different settings and parts that both Yamaha and [redacted] recommended. We sold this unit “as is" with no warranty from us and still never gave [redacted] a bill for time, gas, or parts. And that [redacted] warranty does not cover labor expenses that [redacted] should have paid for.We did finally get [redacted] to replace the motor in June 2014, after never finding a problem with his motor, and again never charged [redacted] for the labor and shipping that [redacted] does not cover. I once again personally took it back to Blue Marsh Lake on July 1, 2014 and the Wave Runner went 50 mph and worked perfectly. After calling [redacted] on July 3, 2014 and telling him his Yamaha was done and he still did not a bill from Ray’s Motor Service Inc. even though [redacted] did not cover the labor and other things and that there was no warranty from Ray’s Motor Service Inc. We did it only for good will.We tried to go above and beyond to help [redacted] out with never charging him with the costs that were not cover by [redacted]. We even loaned [redacted] a new 2013 Yamaha Wave Runner to use while his unit was in being repaired. [redacted] signed an agreement on May 23, 2014, that any damages to the Wave Runner he was responsible for (see enclosed copy). When [redacted] came to pick up his unit and return the wave runner he was loaned on July 3, 2014, the [redacted] Township Police Department had to be called. [redacted] had done damage to the loaned 2013 Wave Runner. We were informed by the police to take [redacted] to Disrtict Court to collect for the damage. The Damage estimate, done by [redacted]’s Body Shop, is $857.54.Since picking up his unit we never had a phone call from [redacted] stating any problems with his unit on July 3, 2014.We feel that the only reason [redacted] is making a complaint is because we are taking him to court for the damage he has done to the 2013 Yamaha Wave Runner we loaned him while his was in for repairs. The [redacted] warranty can be done at any repair shop that [redacted] gives him. The phone number for [redacted] is [redacted].

I am rejecting this response because:
The jet ski that was sold to me hasnt worked from day one. Yes they have tried to fix the jetski but still to this day it does not nor has worked correctly yet. So since he hasnt charged me Mike proceeded to accuse me of damaging a jet ski. The jet ski was a demo unit and I didnt damage the unit as said. I want the jetski that I purchased to be fixed and running as said.unti sold was to be working or to return the jetski. After Mike got physical and the cops were call when he tried to remove my jetski from my truck I do not feel comfortable with how he conducts business. I think he is a poor example for how to treat customers with such physical force. From the beginning all I wanted was a running jet ski which at any point has he provided. He provided a broken unit and wont stand up to fix the mess he has created by selling equipment that shouldnt have been sold.

Review: I purchased a 2002 jet ski that had a new motor with 2 year warranty. Returning to the shop after I bought it as the jetski didnt run correctly. After many numerous trips to repair and fix the jetski they stated that theyd pull the motor and replace in in the spring. Jetski was dropped off in feb. Finally july 3 unit was supposed to be fixed. Took it to the lake july 5, putting it in the water it didnt seem right. Jetski motor shook when I tried to accelerate not reaching 20 mph. After almost 2 seasons of repairs and not being able to fix I want my money back. Owner was rude, assulting and stated would not do anything. local police were calledDesired Settlement: Refund of all.costs associated with jet ski
