Rayz Air Conditioning & Heating

In June 2013, either just before or shortly after I had been in the hospital, my central air unit's compressor went out and Rayz Air: Heating worked on it. Mr. [redacted] had told me that [redacted] would not pay him for his labor, therefore I would be responsible. I found out this year he was also paid by [redacted] and he told me this year my warranty was out when I found out it isn't until 2018 because he was taking so long to fix my unit. He was going to double charge me again, but only this time for parts and labor. Had he not given me the number to a place to look for a part he said he couldn't find, I would never have known any of this!Product_Or_Service: June 2013Desired SettlementI would like the 550.00$ labor plus 200.00 for the pain and distress caused by this matter and the month he let me go without air in the summer! Business Response [redacted] @ [redacted]zair. We take pride in our work but and I started this business from the ground up. I service more than a thousand hvac unit a year and always see to it that the customer is satisfied with the price and the work that was performed. With that being said I went out of my way for Ms.[redacted] as well. My company didn't put her unit in. She called rayzair year and a half ago and the compressor was out there for we change the compressor with them in agreement to pay 550.00 for labor and Freon " this is not paid for by the warranty but the compressor is" they were ok with this. Note, the compressor is still in her unit today running just fine. Year half later she calls, I go out and the fan blade is broken"not a warranty part" and I changed it for 150.00 NEVER received payment on. One week later she called again and we realized that the reversing valve was not closing all the way. This is something hard to diagnose and very time consuming but we did not change her, instead I brought her a dehumidifier and offered her 2 window units until the part came in. The 350.00 dollar dehumidifier of mine has yet to be returned. During this time I started receiving blocked phone calls where a lady said " I'm going to find you in a crowded place and take care of you with a bullet" .... That was a very difficult time with me and my wife. After this went on for about 2 weeks I downloaded an app called trap call and found that it was Ms.[redacted]'s mothers. I called Ms [redacted] and she admitted that she knew that her mom was doing that and that she wanted " her __________ unit fixed now!" I simply told her NO and informed her of where she could get her part from. I don't think I was in the wrong at all and as for the part taking almost a month to come in I hate that but that is nothing we can do about that. We try to make everyone satisfied but I have come to the conclusion that you're always going to have that 1% that you can't. If you need any proof of my story thin I would be more than happy to give it to you, I still have documents and all the harassment recorded.
