Review: I placed an order on 6-8-2015 to have a family heirloom razor revamped. The razor with completed form was received at Razor Emporium facilities on 6-13-2015. Usual turn around times for the revamp services are 3-5 business days. I still have not received my revamped razor or full refund as promised.

Here is the following communication I have had with Razor Emporium on the issue:

• 7-21-2015: Hello. My razor was received at you facility on 6-13-2015. Can you give me an update on order status and a possible completion date?

• Your razor is currently being prepped for plating! We are experiencing longer turnaround times than usual while we work through our current backlog. We are very excited to announce we have moved plating 100% in house! This means we have 100% control over quality and will be offering Revamps with 3-5 days turnaround times. We are very excited and working hard to push through this current backlog.

• 8-26-2015: Another 5 weeks passed and no razor or update. I was hoping to have the razor for my ailing Grandfather before his passing. He has days to live and I would like to surprise him with the revamped razor before his passing. I understand the backlog but in our last communication you now have plating in-house with 3-5 days turnaround times.

• 8-27-2015 I received a phone call from the office manager at Razor Emporium and she explained we can’t find your razor and we will look for it.

• 8-28-2015 I received phone call from office manager and she explained they found my razor and would have the owner personally complete my order and have it in the mail on Saturday 8-29

• 9-4-2015 I sent email stating; Good Day. I was informed on the phone on Aug 28 that [redacted] would personally complete my order and have it in the mail on Aug 29. The order is awaiting fulfillment. What’s going on? Please respond by email.

• 9-4-2015 I received an email stating; Thank you for your patience, we have been fixing a plating issue that has caused all of our Revamps to be delayed. Your razor is of the top importance and will be the first one completed as soon as the problem is fixed. I want to apologize for the serious delay and let you know we will be refunding the cost of your Revamp. I expect it will ship on Tuesday (Monday is Labor Day and we will be closed.)

• 9-12-2015 my account with Razor Emporium still shows my order status as “awaiting fulfillment” which has been the same status since I placed the order on 6-8-2015. I have not received a full refund on my pay pal account as promised.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund which was promised on 9-4-2015 and my family's revamped razor. If you truly lost the razor just tell me and we will work out a suitable settlement.
