I am writing in response to the latest letter I have received from youWe didn't inform her for daysbecause our technicians only turn in their invoices on MondaysThat is when we discovered theaddition error and immediately informed her ofthe mistakeShe is asking for impossible terms, if wehave to inform every person, in writing, of our feesThat would be the only thing that would get ***e.She's only upset because she didn't want to pay for the correction of the invoiceThat makes a verydishonest personAll we did was correct the addition of the invoiceShe signed the invoice and sheknew ii was added wrongI still ***'t know what she is asking me to do, if it's to be dishonest, ( nothank-you.)Respectfully,*** ***Razor RooterMy name is *** ***lam the dispatcher for Razor Rooterln addition, to answer the incoming callsI am the one that gives the quotes on drain call piecesI can assure you that I have the exact samespeech for price quotes to each and every person that is inquiring about our servicesI do not, in anyway, deviate from thisThis way, it eliminates any doubt on our prices.Thank you for your time

Again, I did not see the invoice until after I had written the check for the amount requested, which was in line with the total I expected based on the pricing I was given over the phone and in person less the $50 discount for the toilet pull the technician stated he was going to ask for.Of course I'm upset that I had to pay an additional $100 more than the amount requested at the time of service.  I am in no manner being dishonest.  I did not create the invoice, nor double check the math, as neither of those tasks are a customer's responsibility.  I paid the amount requested and expected the transaction to be closed without further threat of liens on any of my personal property.

I am rejecting this response because:Regardless of how the payments were funded, either with my own personal money or if [redacted] reimbursed me, I was quoted one price and thought I was charged that price.  I wasn't informed otherwise until five days after the repair was complete.  Even though the business provided the price sheet, it wasn't until after I had agreed to the pricing I was quoted and paid that agreed upon price.If the business insists on relying on their price sheet, they should either provide it ahead of the time of service or stick to the price that was quoted before the service was provided.
As for the toilet repair at no charge, the toilet was in perfect working order before they arrived at my house.  I would fully expect it to be in perfect working order when they left.

To Whom lt May Concern:We were aware of the customer's complaint and attempted to resolve the issue. My office staffquotes our Drain Charges as follows: $121.50 for the first drain, including and up to the first 100 feet ofcable. lf we have to go into a crawl space or pull & reset a toilet, it...

is an additional $50.00. For everyextra 50 feet of cable, it is $58.00. I am enclosing a price Sheet to verify our service charges as well.Her drain was broken @ 170 feet, which was an additional $l00.00 for the extra cable charge. Also, wepulled and reset her toilet for additiona l$50.00 making the total of $287.50. There was an additionerroron our Drain Technician of $100.00. We asked in good faith, since the work was [redacted]e, that shepay the difference of the $100.00. We stated that if we had discovered, we over charged her, we wouldhave happily and immediately refunded her the overage.She states that she had to move out of her home due to no working plumbing. tt wasd;scovered that [redacted] had bored through her sewer line, repaired the damage they had causedand reimbursed her any costs that were involved. Our Drain Technician discovered her ine had beenbroken @ 170ft out. We believed our work at that polnt was completed. ln addition, we came back andreset her stool with a new wax ring and steel bolts at no charge to her.She also spoke with our office manager in regards to the $100.00 dispute with us. She wasreirnbursed by [redacted]. At that poini, she had agreed to pay us.We are sincerely sorry that she is unhappy with us, for we strive to be the Best,, we can beto EACH and EVERY CUSTOMER,We honestly can't understand why she is complaining at all. All of her expenses werereimbursed by [redacted]. we did all we could do for her and all we did was to correct an error in additionof our invoice. We sent her price a copy of our sheet thinking this would satisfy her but I guess not. I[redacted]'t know any way to satisfy her without losing money on the call and I certainly [redacted]t think this wouldbe right. Enclosed cagaincis a copy of our price sheet. Maybe you can understand why she iscomplaining.
