I saved my money and bought a $Escooter for my son last yearHe loved it, but the battery started losing charge almost immediately after purchase (to the point he couldn't make it to the end of my flat street and back, about houses)I checked the company's website, and their replacement batteries were about $more than other sellers, so I bought mine somewhere elseThe Razor website indicated that the connection cords were available for $5.99, but were "out of stock." I got the other battery, and needed the cords from Razor because the original battery had the cords soldered to it, so I could not reuse them
After several months (wintertime, so the scooter was not being used anyway and I had time to wait), the cords on the Razor website were still "out of stock," so I used their online chat feature to ask about thisThe representative was unhelpful and borderline rudeShe said that they don't sell the cords separately, and when I pointed out that they are listed on the company's website as out of stock, she said I should have called to validate when they would be back in stock before buying a battery elsewhereI pointed out that "out of stock" implies that the item will be in stock at some point, and a phone call to verify should not be necessary, since the item was not listed (and is STILL not listed as of today) as "discontinued."
She repeatedly told me that I could get a new battery from them with the cords attached (about $60)I Asked if Razor would send me a battery free of charge, since my non-refundable other battery was purchased with the knowledge that the cords I needed were to be available through their websiteShe said no, and said that I "should have called to verify that the part would be availableI don't even know if we have the batteries for your scooter as I need the product ID to check inventory." I had already told her at the beginning of the chat that it was an EShe then basically ended the conversation by asking if there was anything else that she could help me withI said no, and I won' be buying any more Razor products, as their product is poor, parts listings are inaccurate, and their customer service is rude

Gift for kids B-day; New Quad ran 10 min then quit. Rep walked me through difficult series of diagnostics (bike very heavy alot of wiring parts); throttle/electric system needed replacement. Parts arrived ground 10 days, no instructions. Bike had to be disassembled and replacing throttle/harness was difficult at best. Repair time 2+ hrs. After fix/charge, bike ran 10 min then batteries drained. Recharge again, same thing. Called Rep, said I was very dissatisfied with the bike, turn around times for replacement parts was eating up warranty period, that product was lemon. Rep(s) said take to back to store (they knew it was an online purchase)I noted paperwork with the bike stated not to and I have no box/crate to ship heavy bike! Razor will not pay for shipping to repair facility, nor pay to have it exchanged. They're sending new batteries, New bike replacements so far; Throttle, wiring harness, wiring box, batteries. Buyer beware LEMON. Wish LEMON LAWS applied to ALL vehicles.
