We received a shipment of POS printer paper from RBS. The invoice was dated May 22, the paper was recieved June 7. Their return policy says products must be returned within 30 days. I called RBS on June 21 and said we wanted to return the merchandise. The person I spoke to said that they would offer me a discounted price to keep the paper. I said that I would have to talk to the other Manager to see if we wanted to keep the paper and specifically asked whether the 30 day return window would be an issue since I called to notify them of the return within 30 days. The person said that was no problem, that since I had called within the 30 days we could return the paper if we still wanted to. Then the same person called about the billing and said that since it was not within the 30 days we could not return the paper. Further, she went on to tell me that she would not have said that we could return the paper outside of the 30 days.
