[redacted] from R.C. Barry has been out to my house twice to addres two different issues. He has fixed both issues in the most cost effective manner when others that have come out offered much more expensive and unnecessary solutions. I would highly recommend this company.

Review: In 2010, [redacted] replaced a submersible pump form me in my well. Within a short time, probably several months, water began leaking back into the well causing the pump to cycle on and off. The cause of leakage most likely was the check valve built into the pump. After calling [redacted] he told me to install a check valve where the water line comes into my basement. I questioned the additional check valve saying I thought multiple check valves were not recommended. Over the period of a year or so, I began hearing loud hammering noises from my pump room and also at the 4 inch well casing outside. I have called the office number repeatedly to ask that someone come out and repair the check valve, so I can remove the brass one I put on in my basement. I called on or about Aug. 6, and exactly on Aug. 20, and Aug. 27, 2012. I have never got a call. Office just says he's really busy. I have talked to [redacted] and [redacted], 2 other well pump services in the area, and I ascertained that multiple check valves can work as long as nothing leaks. When it does leak it causes negative pressure or a vacuum which can cause water hammer at each pump start and/or the possibility of contamination in the water. The water hammer is occurring when my pump starts. This can drastically shorten the life span of the pump.Desired Settlement: Replace check valve in submersible pump and I will remove the check valve I added.
