On February 20th, I paid [redacted] , the attorney, $2,to file a motion on my behalf regarding my visitation right with my children and my son return to North Academy, his former schoolShe told me it will take two weeks to file itUntil May 9th, the motion was not filedThen, I told her I did not want to file anymore since it was not filed and we scheduled an appointment to meet on May 11th, so I can get my file backOn May 11th, I restated my decision and she told me she is going to bill me for hours she spent and sent me the reminding money (what I think it is a wrong practice)The motion was not file On November 11th, I sent her an email requesting the reimbursement again Until today, I did not receive the money Best Regards [redacted]

I do apologies for the late response. *** *** matter with me is governed by a signed retainer agreement for which he only partially fulfilled. That retainer outlines an hourly rate of $ The documents you submitted on his behalf is a receipt with notations
indicating he would pay off the balance at a rate of $per month. He made none of those paymentsI do not remember telling *** *** that I would complete his matter in weeks. If I said anything like that I would have been predicated it on him making at least one of those paymentsNotwithstanding, work was performed on the file by my office. A full refund is not appropriate. I remain open to working this out with *** *** and recognize that a good portion of the money is likely due to him. Please note that I have been unable to locate an email from *** *** on the issue at hand

I am rejecting this response because:It is very dishonest and unethical from a lawyer who supposed to defend her client and moreover this is subject related to children and familyHow long it takes to file a motion? What it is the average cost to file a motion in New Jersey? This is not a retainer because I indicated that you could not represent me for the DYFS's caseWhere is the trust?I am not accepting your response and want a full refund
