This was a scheduling issue that was resolved before we were notified by the Revdex.comThis complaint has been successfully resolved

(Business provided response by phone.)The business owner believes this complaint is unwarranted Initially, when the business went out to the consumer's, he turned them away Later when they were called back, there was a concern about moisture around the window well, which might have caused buckling Both the homeowner and the job's foreman agreed to wait to complete the job until things set up The business has had to schedule around the weather and allow time for the moisture to dissipate The sealing should be completed by the end of the week

(Business provided response by phone.)The business owner believes this complaint is unwarranted.  Initially, when the business went out to the consumer's, he turned them away.  Later when they were called back, there was a concern about moisture around the window well, which might have...

caused buckling.  Both the homeowner and the job's foreman agreed to wait to complete the job until things set up.  The business has had to schedule around the weather and allow time for the moisture to dissipate.  The sealing should be completed by the end of the week.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/04/14) */
Business called. This job was done over a year ago and the consumer still has not paid. He believes the job was done completely and correctly. However, he agreed to send crews out to both sites at the consumer's request. The consumer did not...

show up, and since there was no water available, the crews wasted their time. He is not sure what more he can do to please the consumer, but he wants to be paid.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/04/19) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Neither of the two jobs were completed properly in the first place. I made it very clear from day 1 that I would pay for the job in its entirety once it was done properly. To date, it has not been done.
A few weeks ago, they finally agreed to come out and fix the job (finally admitting that it wasn't done properly), but did not inform me that they needed to have water available.
I subsequently asked another concrete leveling company to give their opinion and an estimate of what it would take to fix what was done. They agreed that the job was NOT done properly, and pointed out exactly what SHOULD have been done - both in terms of the results that should've been achieved, and the technique used.
For example, he said there are not enough holes drilled, and the ones that were drilled are too far apart, creating "columns" of material under the slab, rather than filling the void properly. He suggested that, with the way R. C. did it, the slab would've "moved quickly" but then would settle back quickly, exactly as it has. He was also very surprised that R. C. does not provide a warranty on their work, and refused to fix it.
At the second property, R. C. initially said the job was completed properly. After they went back to take another look (a year and a half later), they admitted that they didn't do it properly, but blamed it on a piece of door trim that needed to be cut.
Like I said, I no longer want R. C. Concrete to attempt to complete the job they started. I have no confidence in their ability to properly do the job. I would instead like to hire this other company to PROPERLY perform the concrete leveling - the way it SHOULD have been done in the first time. I want R. C. Concrete Leveling to stop harassing and threatening me, and simply go away.
I've attached two separate transcripts from text conversations that I've had with "Steve" and an unknown/unidentified person from the company. Starting with January 20th, you can see the conversation I had with Steve (that he initiated). In this document you can also see his second message from April 7th - seemingly unaware of his commitment to go back and review the work that was done. The second document is a conversation is from a different number, from an unknown/unidentified individual.

This was a scheduling issue that was resolved before we were notified by the Revdex.com. This complaint has been successfully resolved.

I am rejecting this response because:
The business owner still refuses to accept responsibility for his crew failing to arrive at the original scheduled date and time and the lack of communication regarding this job. The reason that the crew was "turned away" was because they arrived 5 hours late and the homeowner had to leave for a previously scheduled appointment. The business owner also fails to acknowledge the inappropriate "good luck" response and hanging up on me when I mentioned calling the Revdex.com. It is my understanding that he was frustrated with one of his employees and took his frustration out on me.The crew did return on 11/02/2016 to complete the leveling of the patio. The sealing was completed today 11/10/2016. The job has finally been completed to my satisfaction. This job would have gone a lot smoother if the business would have communicated better.

Consumer left voicemail that the dispute would not have been resolved without Revdex.com assistance.  The business did not schedule until a day or two after he filed the complaint.

I called the owner regarding the work, he promised to return to fix, they've never returned. I have his e-mail to support these comments.

RC came to raise the concrete in our garage. The initial efforts worked however in a few weeks the floor "sank". I called, they promised to return, never did. I e mailed the owner, [redacted] on May 17th, he promised to reschedule and again, he never returned. There were several issues that we wanted resolved and they were outlined in the e-mail. At this point we want our money returned.
