Who wants to wash clothes while your being eaten by mosquitos or have spiders and other critter crawling in your laundry bag? Action needs to be taken on this also! If someone were to get bitten inside of the laundry room by something they are allergic to it would be bad.

After [redacted] and [redacted] lease was terminated by management for a non remediable lease violation, [redacted] sent them a detailed statement reflecting the $1,444.15 balance due to the property. The statement advises that if you have a balance due, please make payment or payment...

Please note that we are not obligated to offer payment plans for balances due but choose to offer them as a matter of good customer service. Review: Woodmere Apartments is managed by RC Evans Management Group. Woodmere apartments has a main Laundry facility and it is disgusting. we have complained at least twice maybe three times to the main office about health concerns as well as the way that the laundry facility looks. There is always standing water on the floor, frogs, spiders and other critters crawling around on the floor and swimming in the standing water that myself and other tenants have to walk through to wash and dry our laundry. I wish I could send the Revdex.com pictures of how bad the main laundry facility looks because the Revdex.com would be disgusted. The rent office is rude when we complain about the issue and nothing is done to corret it. I am tired of washing my clothes in standing water with spiders and bugs crawling all around me. My wife has already slipped and fell due to the standing water and further action is needed to prevent further bodily harm.Desired Settlement: I want RC Evans Management group to over see that repairs are completed promptly due to the fact that peoples safety is at stake with standing water always being on the floor along with all kinds of spiders and other critters running around freely inside of the main laundry facility. it does not just need to be bombed, it needs to be fixed. If it is not fixed and my wife falls again due to negligence on behalf of the company, I will pursue other remedies as I see fit.

Review: I was evicted from my unit on February 10, 2014. I received a charge, that has not been settled in court, and we were evicted under those premises. After eviction, I attempted to settle my debt by arranging a payment plan. I contacted [redacted] at the main office, and she told me verbatim, that "no offense, we figured you weren't going to pay your debt, so it was probably already sent to collections." The letter that [redacted] sent gave me thirty day to set up payments. When I spoke with [redacted] at [redacted], she was rude and insisted that [redacted] would not say that, and that I was basically lying. I discussed payment arrangements, they said the debt has to be settled within 90 days. I advised them that, because I was paying another rent now, plus additional bills including student loans, that I could not pay that much, however I would be willing to pay $50 or $100. She stated, "that's not possible, should I send this to collections?" I stated that that was an unfair collections act, and she was unable to do anything about it. She said she would send it to collections thirty days from the eviction date. I worked very hard over the past four years to restore my credit, to only have it destroyed under an unfair act of collections. I feel that if I am making payments I am attempting to keep my account in good standings and should not be penalized for something I haven't even been charged with.Desired Settlement: They need to work with me in order to pay this bill, as I am working in good faith to pay it off. They are rude condescending and judgmental of me and my situation.

Review: The issue involves Misrepresentation of terms and conditions.

The companies website stated the security deposit is refundable and the application fee is not. The attendant leased the apartment confirming the website. When we reached out to inform the office of not being able to move in the office was closed due to inclement weather. Once speaking to the office attendant she stated they would not refund the deposit due to loss of rent.

We were told during signing the apartment would be vacated the first week in January and it would be going through extensive remodel for 6-8 weeks depending on the weather. Which would make the apartment available for move in the first week in February, we were due to move the middle of February. There would be a 10 day window that they could have leased the apartment, out of those 10 days 4 fell on a weekend which the office is closed and 2 days they were closed due to weather. They would have 4 days of loss income, when we spoke with the staff they informed us that the leasing contract stated the following :

I understand that if this application is approved and applicant fails to move in for any reason, the security deposit paid will be applied to any damages that Owner incurs as a result of the cancellation, which includes, but is not limited to, lost rent on apartment being held for applicant. I also understand that if this application is not approved for any reason, or the application is cancelled within 72 hours after placing the deposit, the $300.00 will be returned to applicant. The Application Fee of $50.00 each will be retained as a processing charge.

This is misleading and is misrepresented on their website as well as by the attendant with which we signed the lease. We informed her that we were waiting on a transfer through my job and unfortunately that did not go through. We could not rent the apartment. We fully understood the application fee would be retained as she made it clear it was really a processing fee for running our credit and background checks, but she did state we could have the security deposit back if the transfer was unsuccessful.Desired Settlement: Refund the security deposit of $300.00 as it was discussed during signing. This is a misrepresentation of the companies policy.
