Review: On October 22, 2014, my employer called me in an uproar about a call that they received from a "Mr. [redacted]" that stated it was very urgent that I get in contact with him. I called Mr. [redacted] and he proceeded to tell me that he worked for a law firm and they were in the process of submitting my case to the courts in a law suit against me for a past debt that I acquired with Apex alarm systems-now (Vivint). He asked me didn't I receive the notices from the law firm and stated that he had called my employer so that I could be served and my wages was going to be garnished. He stated that the papers were on their way and I would be required to appear in court and the charges would be much more with court costs, stating >$3,000, but what he could do was try to intercede the litigation if I agreed to make a payment today and today only. I told him that I was not working full time at this time I have been out on leave with surgery and that I was not able to make a payment at this time. He stated that the debt was only $1,012.26 but if this went to court it would be much higher, if I could pay $75.00 it would keep it from going to court. Again, I told him I didn't have any money and he began to negotiate and tell me how they have pulled my credit report and knows that I had just applied for a sears credit card and continued until I agreed to pay $20.00/month. I had just came from court with son and very tired. I am still recovering from surgery and I am not working full time. This company gave false information and threatened me with wage garnishments.Desired Settlement: This company needs to cease against harassing me with false representation of being a law firm.

The public should know of the false collection practices they use.

Review: [redacted] as she calls herself had phoned and threatened my daughter in law, used tactics that included legal action to get my information about my wife [redacted] past credit card debt. I phoned the number Mrs.[redacted] left with her. Mrs.[redacted] then proceeded to threaten me including having my wife Mary arrested and thrown into jail if I did not pay her company RC Litigation Group $718 immediately (emphasis added). I paid the $718 and she sent me a contract to pay her another $718 on or before 09/29/2014. I contacted my bank and they advised me to close my account which I did. Mrs.[redacted] then phoned my daughter in law again and again threatened her with legal action. I have the copy of the so called contract. Mrs. [redacted] has also threatened to put a lien on my home and pursue any means to extort monies from me and my family members.Desired Settlement: To find out if this company acually exist and is ligitimate as they claim they are and if they are, they refund me my monies and be fined for their life threatening tactics. Also I would like to have solid verification that this company be fined and disabled from collecting any further monies from me and my family members.

Review: This company contacted me in a threatening manor, stating I owed a back debt I do not owe. I do owe past medical bills, which I had thought that is what they were trying to collect, but this is not the case. It turns out it is for something totally different than my medical bills and I do not owe for the services they are trying to collect for. They stated they had sent me documents more than 45 days ago and when I checked them out on the Revdex.com site they have only been in business for less than 4 weeks. They have taken $230 out of my account and I want that back. I do not feel that they are legitimate. They said they tried to send the documents to my work place as well and I have not received anything there either. They lied to get $ out of me.Desired Settlement: They took $230 out of my checking account and I want it refunded as they have lied about time frame of documentation being sent to me where there was none and they have not been in business long enough to match their time line of information they gave me.

Review: This company, who I have never heard of, is calling and leaving threatening messages with my relatives. They are harassing my family and I have NO idea who these people even are. They are also presenting themselves as a law firm when this is in fact a call center. I asked for the license number of the so called attorney they work for and they either hang up on me or refuse to provide me with the information. The threats, harassment and gross misrepresentation is above and beyond ridiculous.Desired Settlement: For this company to never contact my family again! They should also stop lying about summons, court dates, lawyers, etc ... They are attempting to bully people with threatening scare tactics and harassment.

Review: I have never heard of this company and suddenly on January 6th I received a phone call that they are in the process of serving me a summons at my place of employment unless I come up with money to pay off a charged off debt. The person that called me was named [redacted] and was rude and claimed that a prior letter had been mailed to my address which they have the wrong apartment number giving me a chance to pay off charged off debt. Was trying to bullying me to pay up or else mentality. I had agreed to pay a negotiated payment but when I took the email to my bank they looked at the paperwork and said this look like this was a scam and not to pay this. Bank closed my account since this company had my debit card number and said this could compromise my account. Bank said that the proper way of handling this debt by this company would have been through a certified mail. Bank is seeing too many scams like this come through.Desired Settlement: If this is a legitimate company they need to correspond in a correct manner and not bully people. I do not want any calls on my job. My cell number after 5pm is okay. I want detailed information as to when they acquired this charged off debt and any other important information regarding this transaction.
