On March 16, 2016 our company was hired to re-level a home located at [redacted] Farmington, NM  for [redacted].  A re-level of a manufactured home consists of  inspecting the level of the home, which is performed from underneath the home along the I beams of the home....

  The level is checked and inspected adjustments are made to the level, and checking all stands under the home and knocking the wedges tight on each stand under the home.  Once that work is completed doors and windows are inspected and minor adjustments are made if necessary.  This work was performed on the [redacted] home in addition the home had a door that was not working properly due to an incorrect sticker plate.  A second trip for parts was made to obtain the part for the home owner and installed and doors adjusted.  Windows were inspected and found to open and close but they were difficult to operate due to the mechanisms inside the windows being defective, adjustments for the windows were not required as the adjustments would not resolve the defective mechanism, the windows need replaced or need to be inspected by a window company that might be able to replace the mechanism, which is not part of a relvel,  the representative that Ms. [redacted] had present was informed of this .  The total time spent was two, 2 men for four (4)hours and 2 trips to the location.   Therefore; services were rendered and the requested work was completed.  I have attached the signed paperwork for copies to review.   Three company representatives have spoken with [redacted] and have explained we did do the services she requested to be performed on her home.  I am not sure what she is referencing in the complaint that we did not level from the inside of the home as that is not how this type of work is performed.    As we have explained to Ms. [redacted] 90 % of the re-level is the setup and inspection of the home and the work of inspecting each stand and knocking the wedges tight.  She was not present at the time of the work and the representative she had present signed the work order and issued a check to the crew at the time the services were rendered.  In  reference to the fees:  Our technicians went through the home with the representative that Ms. [redacted] had present, she did not indicate any other concerns with the home other then the doors and windows.  We are really unclear why she feels we did not complete the job she hired us to perform.  She was not present she assigned a family member to meet the technicians and her representative signed off that all work was completed and issued the final payment upon completion. The original quote, was $739.92 which Ms. [redacted] signed to, however; the representative she sent in to obtain the quote gave the incorrect size of home, when we found out the home size was not a 40x72, but was 27x75 the price was reduced to $621.53, which she signed to a payment agreement on on 3/16/16.  She paid an 80% deposit or $ 500.00 and the balance of $121.53 at the time of services.   The check for $121.53 was not cashed and returned to Ms [redacted] on 3/24/16.  She was billed the $500.00 for the services performed.   We are more then happy to try to resolve her concerns but we were hired to perform a relevel and those services were rendered, she has not indicated to us any other issues with the home.     Feel free to contact me if you need any other information. RegardsKandice C[redacted]RCMHS, Inc. 2625 Laplata Hwy Farmington NM 87401###-###-####
