Review: in December of 2013 I bought a RCA tablet it was working fine then in July of 2014 there was a problem with the battery pack, I called RCA support I told them the problem and I was told that they were going to mail me a new tablet and a shipping label to mail the old one back I needed to fax them a copy of my receipt, model number and the problem witch I did and it would take 2-4 weeks for me to receive it. By the end of August I still haven't received it so I called them to see what was going on they told me that they received the papers I faxed and I should have it in about a week, I waited a week and still nothing I called again and I was told the same thing that they are sorry there not sure what's going on I should have it in about a week, this has been going on since then I call every week and im told the same thing that my case has been escalated and I should have it in a week. It is now October soon to be November, im tired of hearing lies from them I would really like to have my tablet.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a new tablet.

Review: Purchased an RCA tablet for my dad for Christmas 2014. He used the tablet until end of January 2015 and it just quit working. It has a manufacturer warranty however RCA does not have a customer service number. All numbers listed on any online RCA website give you voice messages to consult their website. I filled out the repair authorization 3 times over a 2 week period and only received automated messages or one line messages from"[redacted]" RCA support but none ever addressed what they were going to do to help me with my defective tablet that won't even turn on. These were all emails. I even asked to be called in one email so I could get answers but [redacted] never responded to that. This company does not have staff to handle problems. There were tons of bad reviews on their website pertaining to similar problems so I feel that someone should look into this matter before more people keep losing their hard earned money bc this is not right. ThanksDesired Settlement: I would like my money back as stated in all my emails to RCA however I feel like no one is reading them. I have my sales receipt original.

Review: I've contacted RCA starting on 4/30/2015 in order to get my 7 year old 10" tablet repaired and have yet to see results in order to send the tablet back under its current warranty, [redacted] customer service rep continues to send me a link to print out a return slip that is supposed to be generated by ups. I spoke to ups and presented them with the tracking number and was told that the type of label either had to be printed or mailed to me I've got nothing now I am truly frustrated with them and have sent them a nasty response concerning them not having a direct number in order to talk to a live person in order to get this resolved. RCA may say they are doing all they can to fix the problem but they are not. This is supposed to be a US company business with better customer service but I find it ridiculous that their phone numbers direct all consumers to deal with the problem through emails things could get fixed a lot sooner if a live person was on the end of the phone instead of a recording directing you to a website that prolongs the justice of your warranty that may run out before getting fixed.Desired Settlement: I want the tablet fixed with no more problems

Review: We purchased an RCA tablet on 07/09/2014. The tablet will no longer charge. I filled out the emails they advised. I continually received emails having me put in a number they sent me with my personal information. So I called, they said it could only be done online and takes 2-3 weeks. I explained my concerns with this due to the thousands of reviews that this has happened to other people and that when they mailed it they never received their product back. Half of their customer service phone numbers don't work. I finally got through to number 1-800-[redacted] and the representative told me that RCA isn't a business it is just a brand so when I asked what business owned RCA he said he didn't know and told me he receives hundreds to thousands of calls with people cursing at him about these tablets and advised them all to contact the Revdex.com. Then he hung up on me. So I have a tablet that will not charge that has a manufacturers warranty that they cannot guarantee. When I spoke to the customer service 855-[redacted] that is for RCA tablets everyone I spoke with was having a hard time understanding me due to their accent I guess we will call it. They also told me they cannot guarantee it will ever get back to me. So in closing, I have a broken tablet that I may or may not get back if I send it to them to fix and if I do get it back it can take 2-3 weeks up to six months is the time frame I was quoted and again they continually said "if you do get it back".Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated with a [redacted] gift card so I can purchase my son another tablet. Total cost on my receipt for this purchase is 79.99 for the tablet. The serial number is S/N[redacted] and the model number is [redacted]. If any further information is needed to resolve this on my end please let me know. Thank you.

Review: My mother bought my younger brother an RCA 7" tablet for Christmas last year. For about half a year, it held up fine, save for decaying battery life. However, ! month ago, I saw a split between the two faces. I thought that this was just my younger brother being to rough with it, until one morning when it had quintupled in size and had split the tablet open. The battery began leaking a substance that I assume was lithium. Upon further research, I found that this is a fairly common problem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe-SL2NlSDc , as well as what can happen to an LI battery when it is overcharged (it explodes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMy2_qNO2Y0 ). I have no doubt that it would have burned my house down, had I left it on the charger. Now their customer support refuses to refund my money, and instead wants to send me another potentially dangerous device.Desired Settlement: -refund my money

-apologize in a formal letter

-review the safety precautions taken with this product

-possibly a recall

-compensate me for the excessive amount of stress this has caused me

-offer a refund to those with a similar problem (there are many)

Review: I purchased a TV from best buy 4 months ago...it stopped working 2 months ago....its under manufacturers warranty...they hired a repair service a&e to repair 3 parts have been ordered 3 trips to my house still doesn't work...rep with omni told me that it takes 4 service calls before they will replace TV.....still no working TV after 2 months absolutely crazy ...horrible phone customer service and no one to help resolve issueDesired Settlement: I just want a working TV and company to honor warranty without wasting anymore of my time

Review: I have had many issues over a tablet purchased from Rca and I've already had a replacement that stopped working after a month and I keep getting the rub around. Been given phone numbers to call websites to visit and I get no satisfaction. When I call customer service I have been hung up on and been treated rudely.Desired Settlement: After so many issues with the replacement I would like a brand new one that works.

Review: Purchased two RCA LED LCD tv's December 2014. The product was on back order and didnt recive it until January 22, 2015. TV connects to wireless internet but the apps feartures do not appear and do not work properly. It also has a very very slow delay in time and then cycles back to the setup screen. I have contacted RCA many times only to get the run around, hours of time explaining the issue with customer service, just to be told in the end that there is a software firmware issue. Each time I call back, I am then told the the update will be available next month, in a few weeks etc. It has now been more than six months and I have been unable to use my two TV's and their features.Desired Settlement: I feel that RCA should compensate their customers for the inconvience. I have had my tv for over six months with an unresolved issue, spent hours of time trying to fix the problem. This is very inconvient for me and my family. I purchased a warrany that really defeats the purpose because the tv does not work. This is not what I expected when I made my purchase and the features worked properly in the store. The release date for the products's update has been changes several times during this time. RCA has made no attempt to contact its customers updating them on the status of the repairs. I feel that this is very unacceptable. Especially since I am out of $700.00 and left with a products that does not work properly.

Review: I purchased a tablet from RCA that's covered under warranty. Per company's request, I mailed the tablet in and after it was returned, it is still not working. I cannot get anyone to contact regards this issue other than the computer generated emails that I continuously receive. I refuse to continue paying shipping to return this product if they are not going to fix it. I need a new product. I have been without a tablet since April.Desired Settlement: Replace tablet with new tablet. I will not continental paying to ship this same tablet and it's not being repaired.
